Course information
In this yoga philosophy course, you will learn about the history of yoga, the different paths of yoga, the eight limbs of yoga, Bhagavad Geeta, and the Patanjali Yoga Sutras. This course is available with subtitles in 11 languages. Philosophy can be difficult to understand when you read it by yourself. That is why in this course, you have the most experienced gurus to explain all the difficult concepts easily with practical examples. The philosophy of yoga believes that the mind, body, and soul are interconnected.
It considers that spiritual ignorance is the root of all suffering. Integrating the body, mind, and soul and achieving positive goals to fight diseases of the modern world is the primary goal of yoga. The eight limbs of yoga are yama, niyama, asana, pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, and samadhi. Advocates of yoga argue that realizing one's self is the first step toward achieving inner harmony.
Yoga philosophy outlines a methodical procedure to do this. To achieve oneness with the divine, yoga philosophy teaches moral principles, ethical standards, breathing exercises, and internal practices. The philosophy of yoga offers an individual framework for maximizing the benefits of techniques including posture flow, breathing exercises, and meditation. And if one approaches yoga philosophically, then one gains control over their life.
