"Amazing find. Loved it!"

Carla and Debbie are amazingly warm, lovely and welcoming hosts. Carla does delicious creative food and Debbie keeps the yoga lessons interesting and provides alternatives for each pose so you can go with your level of comfort. I loved my short break here and would love to return. Thank you for taking such good care of us. 😊

"Excellent experience"

Debbie was a fantastic instructor and very easy to talk to. Each yoga session was different and enjoyable and if further instructions were necessary these were clear and easy to follow.

Carla was a fantastic host and we had beautiful vegetarian meals during our stay

"Fantastic mini retreat "

Carla and Debbie were so nice and welcoming. The food was great. The yoga sessions were a good mix. Very informative and relaxing at the same time. The accommodation was really comfortable. Deighton Lodge is beautiful. I would definitely go again

"Excellent Yoga and Pilates retreat on a shoestring"

What a great weekend! Both Lucy and Debbie were both charming and very knowledgeable instructors. Meghan also assisted on the weekend and was equally lovely and capable.

The setting of Barmoor House was ideal and comfortable. The accommodation is simple but super clean and suitable. It is a very peaceful setting and ideal for a restful, rejuvenating weekend. I have never met or known Debbie or Lucy before and I was very impressive with the level of their knowledge and insight into their respective disciplines. Debbie is an experienced, multi-faceted yoga teacher and Lucy is the same for Pilates. Both styles were made to be challenging yet universally 'personalize' to each person's level. We explored Astanga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative,Yin Yoga, Meditation and two workshops of intermediate to advanced Pilates. There was also a fun cookery lesson to learn how to make the healthy but tasty veggie food we were eating and was a great time for the group to bond and get to know each other. The group was 8 guests and 3 teachers which meant you had ample access to one to one help. I'd definitely recommend this retreat if you are looking for an authentic yoga and pilates weekend.
