About the Teacher Training Course
Tantra yoga is often misunderstood in the west and is often seen as a conglomeration of sexualized spiritual practices. In reality, traditional tantra yoga is a path that seeks to encompass the whole person and turn every experience into a moment of self-realization.
In this training, you will explore the philosophy of tantra, you will study and practice the Meditations of the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, and delve into the incredible beauty of this knowledge.
This intensive yoga workshop is spread over 5 weekdays, starting on Monday morning and ending on Friday evening. During this time participants will be able to join all studio classes and dive deep with them into the philosophy, history, and practice of traditional Tantra yoga.
Distribution of the 30 hours:
- Techniques and Practice: 10 hours
- Teaching Methodology: 2 hours
- Yogic Anatomy: 3 hours
- History and Philosophy: 7 hours
- Philosophy - Home readings: 8 hours
What are you going to do in the workshop?
Welcome to this comprehensive journey to tantric meditation. They believe that meditation is always a practice and only through consistent practice can yoga be truly understood. Thus, you will be practicing both Hatha yoga and tantric meditation daily as the foundation of the workshop.
Practice
You will practice Kundalini yoga, Tantric contemplations, and meditations. Sound Yoga, Bija Sanchalana, and deep immersions into yourself. This workshop does not contain any form of physical contact.
Exploration of the Vijnana Bhairava and Shiva Sutras
But this is not where you will stop. You will be taking a special path and exploring the influential texts of "left-handed" Tantra like the the Vijnana Bhairava and the Shiva Sutras, dealing with meditation and supreme experience.
In this way, you will delve into their philosophy and secrets in theory. You will discover the attitude, philosophy, and secrets of these beautiful Tantra yoga traditions. You will get to know and embrace the meditations from the Vijnana Bhairava as well as Sound Yoga, Mantras, and exercises.

Tantric Meditation
In this comprehensive yoga workshop, they will cover the following topics:
- An introduction to the history and philosophy of Classical yoga
- The history and philosophy of Tantra
- Mudra, Bandha, Pranayama, and Meditation in Kundalini Yoga
- Mantra and Bija in Tantra
- Immersion in the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra and Siva Sutras
- Guided practice of tantric meditation

Clemens Biedrawa
Clemens is the lead trainer at Matsya Kundalini Yoga Academy. He started practicing yoga at an early age and learned Kundalini and Hatha yoga from an authentic Indian lineage. He is the author of several books about yoga.

The yoga teacher training is located in the charming village of Rossatz, set within the UNESCO World Heritage Wachau Cultural Landscape along the Danube River in Austria.
This beautiful historic valley, stretching between the abbeys of Melk and Krems, features terraced vineyards on rolling hillsides, ancient dry-stone walls from medieval times, and lush floodplain forests. Apricot orchards add seasonal beauty with their spring blossoms, while the river provides a serene backdrop for reflection, bathing, and taking long walks along its sand beaches.
The village of Rossatz offers a peaceful village atmosphere with cobblestone paths, baroque churches, and traditional heurigers serving local wines. From here, enjoy views of the Danube, walks to the ruins of Aggstein Castle on forested cliffs, and the spires of Dürnstein in the distance.
The area's preserved natural and cultural heritage creates an ideal setting for yoga practice, where you can connect with the landscape's ancient spirit and history during your stay.

You will be offered breakfast every day. For vegetarians and also for people who eat everything. Rossatz and Weissenkirchen offer plenty of possibilities to find food as well. For your other meals, you will have a great kitchen at your disposal.
