Course curriculum

Yoga practice in the West has evolved towards more Yang, more masculine, and active dynamic. Through the practice of Yin, you find a more balanced practice in which the fasciae, the organic system, and especially the joints are strengthened and harmonized.

After years of study with professionals such as Sarah Powers, Tina Nance, Jimi Wollumbin, and her own family (formed in a Zen Macrobiotic context), Maite comes to share with her students the wisdom acquired from her throughout the entire her life.

You will not only delve into the asana but you will also explore in detail the meridian system, important acupressure points, the organic system, Vipassana meditation in the asana, silence, and mindfulness; adjustments and adaptations for people with special conditions, philosophy, and principles of traditional Chinese medicine and the System of the 5 elements or Movements.

Without a doubt, a training that will enrich your perspective and approach to yoga, meditation, health, and holistic practice in general.
