I had minimal cooking experience going into the program, and by the end of the three weeks, I left feeling comfortable to recreate the meals delicious meals at home.
Naga and Bridget were clear in their instructions and made the many hours spent in the kitchen fun. They both have an infectious passion for the culinary experience, and after you spend a few hours with them, it rubs off. The preparation and organization required to pull off serving gourmet food is a part of the process I never considered before this. Naga gave a great intimate talk about this topic, as well as one on recipe creation/experimentation.
Apart from those two chats, this is a program where you learn by getting your hands messy. You're on your feet several hours a day instead of being at a desk taking notes. If you're interested in learning to cook with fresh plant-based ingredients and are interested in yoga, this program is for you.
Liz, Dave, and Annabelle led fantastic morning practices, and if I go on a yoga retreat in the future, I'll be going to their retreat in Costa Rica.
