Pre-application requirements
This course is open to all students who wish to deepen their knowledge and application of some of the highest teachings of yoga. Participants do not need to be yogis. Mastery of any yoga practice is not required. Only your sincere desire for knowledge and your commitment to personal are needed. Love for yoga is the most important eligibility factor for learning this course. You will need:
- Yoga mat
- Computer or smartphone with camera
- Internet connection
- Yoga blocks
- Pillow, bolster, or cushion
- Strap
- Notebook and pen
- Zoom
How the training works
This 50-hour online course consists of 35 hours of live sessions and 15 non-contact hours for self-study. It is flexible so you can complete it within 30 days or more. After booking, you will receive a link to access the classes through Zoom. Without submitting the required assignments, you will not receive a certification.

Course information
With the support of the yoga trainer, implements personalized and evolving yoga therapy techniques that not only address the illness in a multi-dimensional manner, Pancha Kosa (five sheaths): Annamaya Kosha (physical body), Pranamaya Kosha (energy field), Manomaya Kosha (mental dimension), Vignanamaya Kosha (psychic level of experience), and Anandamaya Kosha (bliss and beatitude). It helps to reduce patient suffering in a progressive, non-invasive, and complementary manner.

Instructors
Dr . S. Karuna Murthy
Dr. Karuna served as a yoga therapist at S-VYASA, Bangalore, as a yoga lecturer at Bharathidasan University, and overseas as a yoga instructor at Cali wow fitness center. Dr. S. Karuna Murthy has completed an M.Sc in Yoga from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samasthana University and Ph. D from Bharathidasan University, also 200-hour teacher training course, and 500-hour advanced teacher training course, and to registered E-RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance (USA), which reflects his in-depth knowledge and expertise in the context of yoga.
