An was born in 1970 in Antwerp and sport has always been very important in her life. An started teaching aerobics, step aerobics, Body Pump, Tae Bo, spinning, Pilates, and full body training in 1989. When she graduated as a teacher in physical education in 1992, she decided to work fulltime as an instructor in the health and fitness industry. Today, she is still teaching in different clubs in Antwerp. However, over the years, yoga became more and more important in both her personal and professional life. Therefore, she gradually started focusing on teaching yoga.

Joëlle Sleebos is Dutch and lives in Cape Town, South Africa. She started teaching group fitness in 1999 as a hobby-job while she was studying at the university. She has a passion for people’s health, well-being, and vitality. She discovered yoga in 2007 in Australia. In the beginning, her yoga practice was just an additional form of exercise but since 2010, when she also started teaching yoga, it became her main form of exercise. Since 2012, she made a radical change of career and changed her hobby into a full-time job in the fitness and yoga industry.
Bella is a former corporate strategist turned world champion sailor, sponsored kiteboarding athlete, author of 'Smart Girls Screw Up Too - The no-nonsense guide to creating the life you want', and a global award winning travel photographer. She co-created Vayu 2019 because she is passionate about bringing people together to connect, laugh and learn why kiteboarding is the best sport on the planet. Sri Lanka is her favorite country on earth, she has visited five times so far and made lifetime friends each time. She has kited these waters and you're in for a treat.
Arabella Parkinson will be our chef during the weekend and will spoil you with healthy delicious dishes. For her food is a form of art. It is the only art form that you ingest, that becomes you. She aims to educate people about what they are putting into their bodies. Through producing beautiful, holistic and accessible food she aim to guide others to find that balance between eating for pleasure and eating to thrive.
