Yogi Ram
Yogi Ram, the founder of Himalayan Yog Ashram, was born in Rishikesh and raised in a traditional Hindu Brahmin family where he gained the knowledge of Indian traditions as a part of his life. Since he was fortunate to grow up in the company of saints and Yogis, so at a very young age, he felt a strong urge to delve deeper into the mysteries of nature and life. The turning point that drove him towards a holistic yogic life took place in his early twenties. While he was establishing his music business, Ram realized that his ‘modern life ambitions’ were not giving him the quality of life he was
Yogi Teju
Teju is an accomplished yoga master and the head of yoga training at Himalayan Yog Ashram. His profound knowledge of yoga, Ayurveda, philosophy, anatomy and meditation makes experience of participants unique and rich. He is a warm heart, has a very caring and welcoming nature, and is a very motivating person. A person who never did yoga will also feel very safe and encouraged by yoga master Teju. His healing hands, warm heart and loving nature make him a much regarded Ayurvedic therapist. He is also a Yoga Alliance experienced registered yoga teacher, and continuing education provider.
Yogi Kapil
Born in the remote Himalayas, Kapil is a master in traditional Hatha yoga asana as he went through intense asana training with several yoga gurus and mentors in the Himalayas. As a disciple his energy and approach towards yoga is unique. Master-trained in classical Hatha yoga, Kapil is equally well-versed in multi-style yoga, along with meditation and pranayama. He is blessed, as he is a natural yoga trainer always ready to expand his knowledge about the techniques and discipline of yoga.

Kiran is a qualified and experienced Ayurveda therapist and flawless masseur with knowledge of several massage techniques. She trained under several Ayurveda practitioners, and can administer intense therapies and treatments for various ailments. She is well-versed in detoxification treatments such as Purvakarma, Pradhanakarma and Paschatkarma. She has mastery in treatments like Kashaya Dhara, Greeva Basti, Janu Basti, Kati Basti, Basti, Kizhi, Netra Tarpanam, Padabhyanga, Pizhichil, Shringara, Thalapothichil, Udvartana, and more.
Yogi Sagar
Sagar Khanduri was born and brought up in the holy city of Rishikesh (the world capital of yoga) He is the youngest ashtanga yoga teacher at Himalayan Yoga Ashram in Tapovan, Rishikesh. He always carries a big smile and enthusiasm. His warm smile and care make classroom lighter and warmer. Sagar is very good in asanas (specialised in ashtanga, alignment, and adjustment), With very good care he likes to help students to develop their skills so that they can achieve a balance of mind and body, not only in physical but also on a mental and emotional level.

Shrikant Sharma, having acquired expertise in the authentic Bon Shamanic Newari method of sound healing during his training in Nepal, specializes in this ancient tradition that dates back generations. Arrival by airplane
You need to arrive at the New Delhi airport. You can also get a connecting flight from New Delhi to Dehradun Airport which is very close to Rishikesh (30 minutes by taxi). Taxis can be booked through us from both airports at the actual cost.
