Relaxing week on the mountainside of Malaga

Gabriel is a wonderful teacher with a calm and supportive nature. The yoga instruction and adjustments were perfect. The retreat location is lovely for someone looking to be in a peaceful, remote location.

Definition of the word retreat

This must have been my most relaxing holiday I have taken so far. I felt from the moment I first booked taken care of by the organizers. Eva and Gabriel truly welcome each person as if they were a family member coming into their home. Besides that they are both very experienced and knowledgeable yoga teachers. I definitely felt safe in their class, both to try new things with my body, but at the same time not get hurt.

The location of the retreat felt like out of a different era in the most positive way. What speaks for the experience is the fact that a significant amount of the retreaters were not there for the first time or knew Gabriel and Eva from before, which might become true for me as well for the upcoming retreats.

Amazing yoga retreat

Everything about this Retreat was amazing. The location in secluded mountains with sea view and the facilities are breathtakingly beautiful. Old fashion charm with modern conveniences and a chef who makes food an art. The yoga teachers were very meticulous in their approach to make the most of the 7 days of yoga. The method they teach (Purna Yoga) has a very strong Iyengar influences with wall and chair exercises, but on top of that they added a very profound layer of meditative and spine rejuvenating practices.

The day was scheduled so that you can get challenged and awakened with vigorous morning practice and restored with a beautiful evening yoga and meditation practices.

There was enough time for sight-seeing this amazing area with local beaches, or just hang by the pool and rest and read a book picked up from a library of holistic books in English or Spanish.

I have learned some simple but profound techniques to quiet the monkey mind and let go of emotional baggage. Also, the hands-on adjustments helped me deepen my yoga practice.

There were some beginners in the yoga room, but despite the challenging flow, Eva and Gabriel made sure to give extra attention and modifications to those students, and they all came out turned on to a yoga practice upon returning to their native countries.

I would highly recommend those passionate and compassionate yoga teachers and the gorgeous facilities to anybody seeking to deepen their yoga practice, rejuvenate and rest the body.
