Co-teacher Daya Nimai Das
Ann and Daya have been working together for eight years, and they each have their own distinctive schools and trainings. This 300-hour program will be a unique opportunity to learn and adventure with both of them.
Daya started his journey back in 2006, when he first started practicing yoga at Inbound School of Yoga, where he trained and assisted several teacher trainings. After teaching private groups and regular Hatha Vinyasa classes, he opened Nidra Wasi, a yoga community center in the Sacred Valley, Cusco, where he collaborates with different yoga schools around the globe and shares his own deep and transformative practice.
In his practice, he combines the Andean Cosmovision and Indian yoga philosophy with an integrative and restorative approach that induces one into a state of deep relaxation. Daya Nimai Das has been living in the Sacred Valley over the past decade, building community projects, teaching yoga, and leading ceremonies, rituals, and ancient native practices from the land.
He has hosted and guided a wide variety of groups and holistic retreats, sharing his passion for yoga philosophy, Andean cosmovision, bodywork, and sacred medicines.
A song carrier, talented musician, and ceremonialist known for his sharing of mantras, native songs, and folk / medicine music from around the world, Daya is also the founder and director of the Andean Yoga School, where he has led, trained, and certified over a hundred students across the globe.
Yoga teacher and guide, Sal
Sal’s passion is to guide clients through ancient practices of physical yoga, spiritual philosophy, chanting, and breathing. She loves slowing down with students and building internal awareness in this fast-paced society. She believes that yoga is for everyone; it isn’t hiding in a corner waiting for seekers.
Perhaps, yoga is the society of those choosing love and demonstrating devotion, evolving with and from the timeless concepts of spiritual oneness, and slowly moving forward with those. Perhaps…
Grounding down into the physical body so that they can ascend spiritually, Sal coaches her students to invite emotion, feeling, and personal story into their poses. Yoga is not a simple combination of alignment and balance. Using Sanskrit, myth, modern approach, and praise be, grace, she continues to explore the roles of lifeguard, physical therapist, coach, and storyteller that are inherent in “teacher.”
Sal trusts in the unknown and has faith in humanity to grow exponentially, as she looks back on how her path has changed during the “pandemic,” and is honored to assist in this training. The heart nods with certainty that there are people who are meant to be healed.
Presence teaches patience - to begin and finish classes with intention setting, OM, and gradual movement. Curiosity and compassion are a teacher's allies. Sal’s favorite classes to teach are Hatha style, Iyengar wall, Vinyasa flow, Yin and Restorative, beginner-level, kids' yoga, yoga for those with special needs, and yoga for those with injury / for athlete recovery. She typically assists others in her classes with hands-on adjustments, verbal cues, demonstrations of sequences, or by energetically holding space.
Asana (movement) is only one branch of the beautiful yogic tree, and she is inspired to teach many other types of “yoga.” Her lineage of teachers ranges widely from technical to mechanical to enjoyably silly and loose, and her life goal is to always be a student.
She believes that “if you listen, they will teach you.” The trees, the sweat, a book in your library, and everything in between are the instructor. Friends and community, help Sal pray for peace, one moment at a time!
A true 300-hour training to take your teaching and practice to the next level.
There are so many teacher training courses out there, and so many 300-hour programs, so why would you choose this one? First of all, this is a true 300-hour training - meaning that it is for students who have already graduated from a previous 200-hour training or who can prove that they are truly advanced practitioners. DiviniTree Yoga will take the teachings to the next level and help to evolve your practice and yoga career.
Ann has been teaching trainings for over a decade and has helped hundreds of teachers to up-level their yoga businesses. This will be a high-quality program, and DiviniTree Yoga's students' testimonials speak for themselves.
This course will be focused on self-inquiry and development, and will include powerful manifestation work that will aid you in all facets of life. The yoga on the mat will just be the beginning.
DiviniTree Yoga is highly inspired by the work of David Frawley and his work with yoga and ecology. More and more research is showing the benefits of nature therapy, and one of the best parts of this training is that students will get into these majestic mountains. They will take you off the beaten track and into breathtakingly beautiful places where you can connect with the nature spirits in all their glory.
Yoga is about the union with one's higher centers of perception, and this training will be an opportunity to study sacred texts, immerse yourself in asana, pranayama, meditation, ritual, adventure, community, and magic. DiviniTree Yoga realizes that yoga as taught in the West is a fusion of many sacred ways and paths. With them, you will merge Vedic knowledge with Andean spirituality and ceremony in the heart of the world, the Sacred Valley of Peru.
DiviniTree Yoga carefully selects participants to create an amazing container for this deeply transformative work. Participants must have the right attitude, an open heart, a willingness to serve the world, be up for adventure, be able to go with the flow, and be ready to leap into a new level of knowingness. Please be ready to fully commit to immersing yourself in the training and showing up for yourself and your fellow yogis.

Included excursions
Magical adventures and epic journeys included in your 300-hour yoga teacher training course:
DiviniTree Yoga believes that the beauty of learning yoga in the Andes is being able to breathe some of the purest air on the planet. The power to heal that those mountains have is profound, and they respect and honor these Apus and the healing traditions preserved there in those sacred lands.
You will always start the journey together with a despacho, the traditional way of honoring the earth and giving back while asking for blessings, protection, and permission to be there. DiviniTree Yoga commits to treading lightly, and they provide filtered water and ask everyone to bring their own reusable bottle. They will also take you off the beaten track into breathtakingly beautiful places in communities where they have family contacts.
Participants will have two full hiking days together. One will be to a magical lakeside community where they still tend to their llamas, alpacas, and sheep. One of everyone's most memorable days is always the hike with Don Hernan. The journey itself is unforgettable!
DiviniTree Yoga also believes in Karma yoga and has been donating to a local nonprofit called Ayllunchis. The training will include a seva day wherein students will give back and help at a remote, high-altitude community, bringing them valuable resources and learning from their wisdom and culture.
