- Accelerated option: 4 consecutive days (e.g., start on the 1st and complete on the 4th)
- Immersive option: 4 weeks (1 session per week), allowing participants to practice independently between sessions and progressively deepen their understanding

How the retreat works
There are four live online sessions over four weeks, once per week (via Google Meet), allowing time to absorb, practice, and integrate learning between sessions. Each session typically lasts 60 minutes, including warm-up, guided practice, and relaxation, and builds progressively on the previous week. After enrollment, you receive a detailed registration form, and you are encouraged to mention:

Based on this information, the instructor designs a customized Surya Namaskar flow to ensure safety, comfort, and effectiveness.

Session timing is flexible and personalized. Canada yoga studio runs 12 batches throughout the day, accommodating different time zones globally with flexible session durations. After enrollment, you can connect with the management team to change your time slot if required.

- Only Hatha Surya Namaskar (therapeutic and customized): Designed for beginners, seniors, or individuals with health concerns. This gentle approach is modified to support specific ailments or wellness goals.

Surya Namaskaar
Surya Namaskaar is a traditional yoga sequence of 12 postures performed in a rhythmic flow with breath to improve physical and mental well-being. Regular practice improves flexibility, strength, posture, digestion, focus, and reduces stress.

Pallavi is founder and lead trainer at Canada Yoga Studio. She has worked in the corporate world for a decade and later she found her calling to serve the society by spreading the awareness of fitness, prenatal coaching, mental relaxation. Additionally, she was practicing pranayama and meditation from her childhood. She has trained students from various nationalities like Canada, India, Singapore, and the USA. Having an exposure to the corporate world she has an edge in understanding human behaviour and providing learning through Hatha, Ashtanga, meditation, pranayama, sound healing practices.
Moni
Moni is a very experienced yoga teacher pursuing her passion in yoga from her childhood. To master her skills she has done her graduation in yoga and developed various advanced skills from Rishikesh, India. She has been naturally attracted to Ashtanga and Hatha practices and has trained various students with her in-depth flexibility, strength and mobility knowledge.
Retreat location
This yoga retreat is held online. Canada yoga studio is based in Calgary, Canada and they will live-stream the classes via Google Meet based on MDT (GMT-6) during Summer and GMT-7 for session/s before March 8, 2026 and after November 1, 2026 which you can participate from the comfort of your home by just using your phone or computer.
