Ensuite Rooms - Single or Twin Shared

The ensuite rooms can be configured into two single beds or one king bed and can accommodate up to 2 guests. The rooms are newly renovated with wooden floors and whitewashed walls, and have adjoining bathrooms. There is also an option to have an ensuite room with a private verandah overlooking our gardens. The rooms are newly renovated with wooden floors and whitewashed walls. All rooms have air conditioning, reading lamps, and cupboards.

Shared Bathroom Rooms - Single or Twin Shared

The shared bathroom rooms are a more affordable, yet comfortable option. The rooms can be configured into two single beds or one king bed and can accommodate up to 2 guests. The rooms are newly renovated with wooden floors and whitewashed walls. All rooms have air conditioning, reading lamps, and cupboards. The shared bathrooms are located close by and are accessible by covered verandas.

Quad Share Cabins, Shared Bathroom

These four-share rooms are configured with four single beds in a comfortably sized cabin. They are peaceful and private. The cabins are newly built structures with small decks, taking advantage of the views to the beautiful green outlook. All cabins have air conditioning, reading lamps, and cupboards. Shared bathrooms are located close by.

A day in retreat

This 7-day yoga retreat is designed to offer a comprehensive health kick to reset your body and balance your mind and emotions. Please note: the yoga retreat program is flexible, so you can join in as much or as little as you feel up to.

  • Morning: Start your day with a grounding sunrise yoga class, flow-based and suitable for all levels, followed by a nourishing breakfast. They take breakfast seriously at Byron Yoga Centre! The dishes vary daily, offering a vibrant mix of vegetarian delights. For those who’d like, eggs are available for a small additional cost.
  • Mid-morning: Join an optional wellness workshop that might explore nutrition, yogic philosophy, or practical self-care tools to support your daily life.
  • Midday: After your meal, choose between a second alignment-based yoga class or curling up with a good book in the sun. Enjoy free time to rest in your room, stroll along the beach, or unwind by the 20-meter mineral salt pool (solar heated in winter), a gentle way to soothe tired muscles and restore energy.
  • Afternoon: Immerse yourself in a deeply relaxing yin or restorative yoga session to help your body and mind drop into stillness.
  • Evening: Dine together under the stars with a wholesome, freshly prepared meal. Reflect, connect, or simply rest. Let the day end in quiet peace and intention.

The structure of the program: yoga before meals, then workshops and relaxation, ensures you’re nourished, but never too full to move. Things to do (optional)

Byron Bay walking

Byron Bay and its surrounds host an abundance of walking track options. The Cape Byron walking track is within walking distance of Byron Yoga Centre. They also have bikes available for hire during your stay, so you can explore a little further along the coast, including the Three Sisters Track in the beautiful Broken Head Nature Reserve. If you have a car with you, we recommend heading slightly inland to explore the many waterfalls, rainforest, and bush walks in the Byron Bay hinterland.

Byron Bay whale watching

Cape Byron is Australia’s most easterly point, located on the North Coast of New South Wales. This makes Byron Bay the perfect place to experience the migration of whales. Whale watching season is from June to October, and you can usually catch a glimpse of the magnificent creatures from the Cape Byron lookout.

However, if you would like a closer look, we recommend booking a whale watching tour during your yoga retreat with friends at Byron Whale Watching.

Byron Bay kayaking

All year round, the Byron Bay coastline is also home to local pods of bottlenose dolphins. You can often spot these from the shore; however, to see some up close and personal, we recommend booking a Byron Bay Kayak Tour during your stay at Byron Yoga Retreat Centre. They can organise this for you! Simply tick the optional extra when booking your Yoga Retreat.

Crystal Castle

A must-do during your yoga retreat is a visit to the Crystal Castle and Shambhala Gardens. Find your bliss with meditations, wander the ancient labyrinth, connect with nature on the Damanhur Spiral, and rejuvenate with a reflexology walk. If you have a car with you, book your tickets here and explore the Crystal Castle at your leisure. Otherwise, they can organize a return shuttle tour from Byron Yoga Centre.

Byron Bay markets

It’s not a trip to Byron Bay without exploring the local farmers' and community markets. Byron Bay markets – 1st Sunday of the month (+ 3rd Sunday of December and January). With its welcoming atmosphere, artistic talent, fantastic food, local musicians, and authentic products, it offers an inspiring illustration of Byron’s local community at its best. Byron Farmers Market – Thursdays 07:00 - 11:00. Everything from seasonal fruit and vegetables, pasture-raised meat and eggs, artisan cheese and bread, seafood, pasta, rice, nuts, honey, flowers, and more!
