    Nice Retreat for Dutch people

    A breath of fresh air

    The location is beautiful although difficult to reach. The walks were rather easy and surrounded by gorgeous landscapes and overall the rhythm of the retreat is just the right amount of activities and rest.

    This was exactly what my mind, body and soul needed.

    I fell in love with absolutely everything, from the beautiful place in the middle of nature, lake to swim and nature paths and trails to walk, horses to work with, every single person has lovely spirit, the food was just to die for. Also a great balance with program and free time ^-^.

    a wonderful experience

    A truly fantastic yoga retreat. Elleke and Pieter are great hosts and Elleke is a wonderful teacher. Borde Blanque is in a beautiful setting immersed in nature and very close to the lake which is lovely to swim in. The place is so tranquil and peaceful and my week there was a truly uplifting experience.

    Gift for your body and mind

    I loved the atmosphere of this beautiful spot on earth. The silence in the mornings. The kind and mild spirit of the instructor and the caring for all the participants.

    The sound of people listening to you and meeting your needs - and a special thanks to Pieter for solving all kinds of requests and making life so easy before, during and after the stay.

    The feeling that you are safe and in good hands and that you will stay safe; Your instructor has the capacity to handle any obstacle or challenge that any of the participants will meet both physically and mentally. And she will handle the situation for your best.

    This is a place with high professional competence combined with true care for other people - and for our Earth.

    Ik vond het fijn dat theorie zo verdiepend was. Ik kan er nog heel lang over na denken. Wat we hebben beoefend in practijk is iets waar ik me stapje voor stapje nog verder in kan ontwikkelen. Ik ben alleen maar hongeriger geworden naar meer!

    Perfect little time out, dedicated and experienced hosts

    I enjoyed the stay at La Borde Blanque quite a lot, because the host Elleke, her husband Peter and their two friendly dogs made you feel very welcomed and were passionate for helping. The house is situated in a beautiful yet remote piece of nature where you can have nice views and stargazing, and enjoy fresh water of their own source that even comes out of the shower, so my skin felt great. The cook Marianne prepared just lovely plantbased food with optional french cheese and egg in it, being inspired by the kitchen of Indonesia, India, Mexiko or France, for example. There was plenty of food and tea. As for the program, I especially enjoyed the hike in the fairytale-like woods at New Year's. The yoga/meditation room is just gorgeous with a very inspiring atmosphere. Every morning meditation ended with a sharing session in which Peter and Elleke showed their professionality and their long-term experience in working with human beings and their inner insights which was fascinating to take part.

    The perfect retreat

    Une magnifique découverte

    Le domaine de la Borde Blanque est magnifique, accueillant et tellement apaisant.

    Peter et Elleke sont deux personnes magnifiques, bienveillantes, et généreuses. Ils ont tout fait pour que l'on se sente bien durant notre sejour et nous ont tant apporté.

    Les matinées en silence permettent d'emerger à sonrythme et de se centrer.

    Les sessions de yoga nous ont montré la grande diversité de cette pratique.

    Elleke a un talent tout particulier pour enseigner les principes du yoga et nous apporter des réponses justes et sensibles.

    La méditation a été pour moi une vraie découverte et Elleke a su nous guider sur ce chemin.

    Nous avons tous profité des soins de Peter qui nous ont beaucoup aidé et poursuivent leur travail.

    Tous les autres moments de partage ont toujours été très ouverts et enrichissants et nos hotes ont eu la patience de répondre à nos centaines de questions.

    En fait tout a été très positif. Il ne reste plus qu'à savoir quand je pourrai y retourner.

    Merci beaucoup poir ce magnifique moment.

    The region is magical and the nature beautiful.

    The yoga space is excellent : beautiful light, and high quality yoga equipment.

    If help needed, the owners are very often available !

    There are beautiful walks around very cute villages.

    All classes are optional.

    Merveilleux!

    La Borde Blanque est un lieu de sérénité en contact direct avec une nature luxuriante et le lac de Montbel à proximité.

    La nourriture est de qualité Bio et très variée, quant aux chambres, elles sont spacieuses et confortables.

    L'accueil de Peter est très efficace et convivial. Quant aux enseignements d'Elleke dans le Yoga, la méditation et la philosophie avec les textes Sanskrit sont juste parfaits, tout en douceur. humilité et ouverture du coeur.

    Un grand merci à Elleke et Peter pour tout ces moments privilégiés.

    Wonderful yoga retreat with my 7 year old daughter

    We had an amazing time at La Borde Blanque. I really enjoyed the yoga, delicious food, beautiful house and surroundings and company of host and other guests. My daughter enjoyed playing with the other children and enjoyed the kids yoga and activities. We also enjoyed spending time at the lake and river, visiting the puppies and grooming the ponies. We hope to return next year it was a very relaxing holiday. Thank you Elleke and Pieter and your daughters and Marianna the cook.

    Die Yoga und Meditationssessions wurden sehr gut angeleitet. Der Raum war sehr schön. Auch das Haus und die Lage sind sehr schön. Da es sehr heiß war, war zudem der Privatstrand am See toll. Das Wasser ist sehr sauber und man kann hier gut auch längere Strecken schwimmen. Zur Abkühlung gibt es auch einen Fluß unterhalb des Hauses. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen ist auch wirklich sehr gut und gesund und auch immer genug. Wir hatten eine wiklich tolle Zeit, haben sehr nette und interessante Leute kennengelernt und viel Inspiration zur Meditation und Yoga erhalten.

    Sensational scenery

    A beautiful experience feeling relaxed in a loving peaceful environment. The walks were all excellent and lead by the family dogs! Yoga was very complimentary to the walks and felt perfect for me.

    Most of all I liked the approach and attitude of the instructor (guru). Yoga classes as well as meditation and yoga theory were presented in a very interesting, peaceful open minded way. Morning sessions lasted for 3 hours and I had never felt bored or tired.
