Enjoy 6 days on the magical island of Nisyros, doing thematic yoga classes in the morning and related activities during the day. The five elements water, air, earth, fire, and ether will be guiding us through the retreat, each day is dedicated to one element.

The venue is the charming ‘Loutra’ the old thermal bath, that was built in 1875 and still maintained a stylish and aristocratic character, just about 10 walking minutes from the main village and harbor Mandraki. We’re going to stay in shared double rooms, with shared bathrooms. The rooms are simple and clean. If you wish a room on your own you can book it with an extra charge of 80 EUR.

Professeurs
David Ikonomou
Having already 10 years of experience in Yoga practice I got certified for teaching at the Sivananda Kutir in Netala, Himalayas of India in 2010. In the following years until now i’ve been trying to keep myself continuously evolving through my own regular practice as well as various courses and trainings that i participate in. Over the years I was exposed to many different Yoga styles and influenced by various teachers, amongst them internationally renowned yogis, such as Simon Borg Olivier‘s Synergy Style and the rich teachings of Richard Freeman, as well as Kristina Karitinou.
Lieu du séjour
The venue is located just at the shore around 10 minutes walking distance from the port and main village Mandraki, where you get a big variety of food and cafeteria options, supermarkets, bank, and ATM. From there it’s just a little walk around the rock to a beautiful hidden beach.
Walking in the opposite direction you get to the serene little Harbour and the village of Palloi, where there are more Tavernas and Cafes, a little beach with some trees for shade is there as well. Exploring the island by car or bike takes you to traditional Greek island mountain villages with charming character and great food.
One of the main attractions is, of course, the volcano crater, that is possible to visit and a unique sight to experience. The ancient Minoan Castel is another attractive destination to feel into the history of the place. Also worth mentioning and visiting is definitely the remote the beach of Pahia Ammos with its red sand and special energy.
