Aaron Ogden
Aaron offers a quiet and reflective space throughout the retreat experience, weaving together insightful meditation, yoga classes, guided journeys along Sacred Nature trails, exploratory conversations, and ceremony. Aaron offers to every guest his inspiration for bridging modern science with ancient wisdom teachings, stemming from his personal practice of 20 years in somatic healing arts, massage therapy, shamanic arts, astrology, and yoga therapeutics.
Tony Khalife
Singer, songwriter, and recording artist Tony Khalife brings the gift of transcendence through music. He weaves a seamless flow in which the drone and ragas of Indian music and the resonance of devotional Sufi dances meet Western harmonies. Tony is a Vedic scholar who has studied the life and songs of Indian saints and ancient rituals in Sanskrit, served seven years as a ceremonial guide at the Wishwa Shanti Ashram in Oakland, California, and spent one year in India on pilgrimage singing and chanting from Haridwar to Pandharapur.
Linda Baffa
A singer, a mama, an astrologer and a soul seeker. She has been practicing and studying yoga and meditation for over 20 years, and teaching for over 13 years. Residing in Santa Barbara, she offers numerous weekly yoga and meditation classes, astrology birth chart readings, and overall life-coaching for students of all ages. Through strong, yet nurturing guidance, Linda's offerings are accessible, challenging, and peaceful all at once. She encourages students to dive deep and tune inward, witnessing their patterns, what shifts they might need, and how they can be the best version of themselves.
Chelsea Rothert
A mother, a birth doula, a professional organizer, and an avid globe trotter. She has traveled to over 15 countries from India to Iceland spreading love, laughter, and yoga by guiding classes, workshops, and multiple teacher trainings for the last decade. Her teaching style is challenging yet grounding, creative yet traditional, thought-provoking, and inspiring. A lover of traditional breathing exercises, meditation, a grounding practice followed by a few yummy restorative poses to finish.
Dr. Alice Kerby
Dr. Alice Kerby specializes in Somatic Experiencing Trauma Therapy and Resiliency Coaching. She holds a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is an expert in movement and working with the nervous system and body to unwind past patterns of trauma and chronic stress. Dr. Alice helps her clients and students to gently touch past trauma patterns that are stored in the body. This leads to restored resiliency in the nervous system, offering a greater ability to make choices from a place of one’s essential self.

Beautiful Retreat!
Jahara is just excellent at what she does and is so engaging and peaceful! I loved the comradery between all the people present at this retreat and how we were able to be open/honest and become fast friends!

Excellent Self-Care
The instructor and the size of the group: small. Victoria is not only knowledgeable she is was also very attuned to each of us. She reads bodies in practice well and could adjust and encourage with just the right amount of encouragement. Loved her! Property is serene and truly a sacred space.

Celebrating Abundance at Sagrada
The women at this retreat were strangers to me at first, but now I see we became an assembly of goddesses. That's the magic spell cast upon us at Sagrada by the lovely Leslie St. John and crew. Three times a day, we gathered around a 10-foot rustic table for vegetarian feasts plated to entice, seasoned to delight. The kitchen staff--Lourdes, Stacie, Richie, Emilee and Jim-- made us feel welcome, queenly, and at ease as they dazzled us daily with their creations. Even the coffee was great (which matters to me!)
The grounds at Sagrada are rustic ranch style, set amid live oaks, grey pines, mimosas, and lavender. All is comfortable and clean, with a pool and hot tub nearby. The cotton sheets breathe, the air is fresh, and nights are cool (at least in June). Best of all, the yoga room is spacious and ventilated with a wooden floor and plenty of props. Even the water pressure for showering was good.
Leslie St. John is a gifted and dedicated teacher of both yoga and writing, and all of the exercises she offered were fun and approachable. She scheduled just the right amount of group time and free time for us to truly feel we had been on a retreat. The vibe was entirely welcoming and she kept it real but light. Together we all bloomed into a bouquet of gratitude, inspired by Leslie's abundant use of beautiful objects in practice. She clearly brought her A-game to making the retreat lush and memorable, which it was. And she is, herself, adorable.

Thanks for the good times!
This retreat exceeded my expectations. We were warmly welcomed from the hosts and were able to quickly get comfortable! Every bite of food was delicious. Jahara’s such a kind, compassionate soul; we were so lucky to have her guide us through yoga and myofascial release.

Awesomely beautiful retreat!
The Sagrada resort is a so lovely! The stewards have done an incredible job developing this retreat setting while maintaining its "wild" feeling. Jahara is a kind and enlightened being who provided us with an opportunity to really expand our earthly walk. I am so grateful for her knowledge, kindness and compassion. This retreat was what I had hoped for--so glad for this blessing.

I loved the thoughtfulness and professionalism of the yoga/writing instructor. The planning and attention to detail that went into those sessions made them very enjoyable, and effective. I loved that she incorporated dancing and poetry and that every session was different and very special in its own way. I also loved the meals, were delicious and beautifully presented. I loved the hot tub under the stars with no city lights. I loved the host she was friendly, happy, and very helpful. She adjusted the temperature in our room that was a bit too warm the first night.

One of the best experiences I've ever had!
This was my first retreat ever, and this place stole my heart. The people are wonderful, the land is breathtaking, the food is delicious, and the accommodations are beautiful. Everything exceeded my expectations. Leslie is a genuine, knowledgeable, and sweet soul. I loved dancing poolside with her and the other ladies during the Qoya practice (even during the pandemic, I felt safe and everyone kept respectful distance.) Eva and Scott are both so kind and welcoming. You will only leave happy and rejuvenated. I will definitely be back!

Review of New Year's Yoga Retreat at Sagrada Wellness
The New Year's Yoga Retreat at Sagrada Wellness exceeded my expectations and I left feeling incredibly rejuvenated and relaxed. I had attended a Thanksgiving retreat in Sedona, AZ this year and was very stressed, because no one took the Coronavirus seriously. Very few people wore masks and we were unable to practice yoga or eat outside. So, I was unsure what Sagrada would be like, but it was a completely different experience for me. The organizers took the pandemic seriously; there were only 7 guests, everyone wore masks, including in the yoga room, a negative Covid test was required in order to attend, and we were able to practice some yoga classes outside, as well as eat our meals outside. The yoga instructor, Nicole, was excellent and I loved her teaching style. She incorporated pilates into many of the classes. Tony played beautiful live music while we practiced and that was amazing and something I have rarely experienced! The food was exceptional and I found myself looking forward to every meal. I loved the hikes, the location and all of the people! I will definitely be going back to Sagrada Wellness and I have told several of my friends and family members about it!

A wholesome experience
There is so much that can be praised about the location of this retreat. The beautiful nature and the wildlife absorb one during the quiet hours of the morning. Aaron was an amazing coach through conversations and the daily exercises. Tony played the most amazing music that facilitated the process of connecting with my mind and body during meditation sessions and yoga exercises. The food was fantastic and the group was so energetic.
