Akshi Yogashala enjoys the privilege of being situated in the yoga capital of the world. The calm breeze of the Holy Ganges purifies every cell and pore in the body. The sanctity of the sages and seers meditating near the banks of Ganges bless every soul in their vicinity. Ideal for pursuing yoga teacher training courses, the school is proud of its association to The Land of the Gods. People from the various parts of the world flock here to find inner peace and enjoy a tranquil time. Akshi Yogashala endeavor to accommodate their wanderlust and be a courteous host. Akshi Yogashala receive 100’s of students & guests every year and are accustomed to understanding the needs of their students no matter where they are from. In order to accommodate the students Akshi Yogashala have amalgamated and constructed a modern yet ashram like infrastructure.
The school has been set up in a way that offers a heightened experience with the space and airiness needed to practice yoga. The infrastructure is very simple but Akshi Yogashala never miss out on anything our students require. When Akshi Yogashala practice yoga & meditation, they require space which is why student rooms are ventilated, airy and spacious. Each room is equipped with a coffee table, a cupboard and ensuite bathroom. All other facilities like a washing machine, internet etc. are also available.

Professeurs
Vivek Arya
Plus jeune, la passion de Sri Vivek pour le yoga est rapidement devenue évidente pour son père, qui l'a lancé sur le chemin de la compréhension. Sa soif de connaissances l'a amené à vivre 15 ans dans un ashram et dans l'Himalaya pour étudier le yoga et la philosophie. Inspirés par son désir ardent d'apprendre, les sages l'ont accueilli et lui ont enseigné des voies mystiques inconnues de beaucoup. Actuellement, Sri Vivek poursuit son doctorat. en yoga, avec pour objectif de ne jamais cesser d'apprendre et de se consacrer à l'humanité.
Sandeep Pandey Ji
Yogacharya Sandeep Pandey Ji est un maître de méditation et de pranayama. Il a appris les techniques de méditation et de relaxation dans différents ashrams de Rishikesh ce qui lui a permis d'acquérir une connaissance profonde des différents aspects de cet art. Il a débuté son voyage comme disciple du gourou Swami Veda Bharti Ji du ashram Rama Sadhaka alors qu'il n'avait que 11 ans. Il fait actuellement un Ph.D en yoga et enseigne la méditation et le pranayama au futurs yogis.
Deepak Bhatt
Deepak Ji is a dedicated yoga teacher from Rishikesh with a deep-rooted background in traditional yogic and Vedic culture. He holds a Master’s in Yoga and is a 500-hour certified Yoga Alliance instructor. Teaching since 2013, he specializes in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga, with a focus on alignment. He also explores Vedic astrology, adding depth to his guidance. Calm and insightful, Deepak helps students grow both on and off the mat.
Mukesh Sevda
Mukesh has been a part of our yoga family since 2016, beginning his journey as a manager and gradually evolving into a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher. He started practicing yoga and attending classes at our school in 2018, laying a strong foundation for his path ahead. In 2020, Mukesh earned his Master’s degree in Yoga from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University. After completing his studies, he began teaching private students and, since 2023, has been guiding groups in retreats and Yoga TTCs. Currently, Mukesh is pursuing a Ph.D. in Yoga and Pranayama at Shri Khushal Das University.

Akshi Yogashala is committed to carry out an all-round growth of the students and with this intent Akshi Yogashala have undertaken Ayurvedic cooking methodologies. Each body type varies from one another, while it is important to understand one’s constitution, the school extends holistic diet beneficial for all the students. Intensive workout requires balanced and invigorating diet which is why they’ve hired experienced Ayurvedic chefs. Light and healthy vegan food complementing the demands of Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, is the reason why teachers emphasize eating only ashram cooked food. This is significant in detoxifying the body during your stay with Akshi Yogashala. Daily meals include breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, juices and other needs if need be.
- Akshi Yogashala provide highly nutritious and pure Vegetarian food, that is good for health but it is not Vegan.
- Food will be provided as per your medical needs or health conditions. Just inform Akshi Yogashala about your needs well in advance.
- Pure filtered water is provided to the students.

Arrival by plane
Take a flight for New Delhi airport, but if there is a direct flight from your starting place to Jolly Airport at Dehradun, that would be best. Dehradun Jolly Airport is around fifteen kilometers from Rishikesh. You can hire a taxi from the Jolly Airport.
If you make a request in advance, Akshi Yogashala will make a transport arrangement for you from the airport, bus or railway station to Rishikesh and back.
