1.  Spain

Spain has been listed among the top 3 yoga destinations in the world for the past 6 years. Even though it dropped by a few spots in 2023, it returned with a ‘vengeance’  last year and reigned as the champion of top yoga destinations.

Flamenco, wine, and paella are always excellent ways to spice up your yoga vacation. Plus, the Spanish sublime islands, sophisticated cities, and pleasant weather year-round are excellent to strike your best asanas.

The turquoise waters of the Canary Islands alone are enough for your needed recharge. On top of this, you can also go on adventurous excursions like biking or hiking on Fuerteventura’s exquisite volcanic trails, or do both yoga and surfing in enchanting locations in Tenerife.

If you prefer staying close to the city, Alicante’s bustling beachside offers a space for relaxation. The stunning mountain and coastline views make you feel more refreshed in your yoga sessions.

Spain is certainly home to incredible historical sites, beautiful coastal towns, world-famous architecture, vibrant nightlife, and delicious dishes. Thanks to its convenient location in Europe, a short yoga weekend break is quite possible even for yogis living in neighboring European countries.

Believe it or not, until this year, the USA has never reached the top 3 of our ranking! For 2025, however, we predict that yoga experiences will likely soar even further in popularity stateside.

This may not be a surprise as the good ol’ US of A always offers something unique to yoga enthusiasts, no matter their skill level or preferences.

After all, it’s not only the beauty of its enormous territories like the Rocky Mountains in Montana, the Sierra Nevada and amazing beaches in California, the desert landscape in Arizona, the Catskill Mountains in New York State, or the highly acclaimed beach yoga retreats in Florida and Hawaii, but the USA is also rich in yoga history.

This vast country is where the seed of yoga has given the highest number of fruits in a short period. Truth be told, if it wasn’t for the American adoption of the practice, maybe yoga would have never seen its massive expansion.
