What to expect?
During these few days, Kailash Yoga Ashram will share with you the wisdom of yoga, including knowledge of physical postures (asanas), techniques of breathing (pranayama), meditation (mindfulness), and help you explore your true inner self. Practice will vary from one class to another as a blend of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. They will teach you different techniques of breathwork and meditation, which will help you to improve your concentration and reduce stress daily.
However, a complete harmony cannot be achieved without a balanced diet. At Kailash Yoga Ashram, they make sure that you are served healthy sattvic meals that nourish both your body and soul. The meal plan is specifically designed to provide balance and enough energy throughout the day of Yoga and Meditation practices. Lastly, staying in Rishikesh without having the opportunity to admire its natural and cultural beauty would be a real pity. That is why they will take you around, so that even in this short amount of time, you can discover some of its hidden gems and holy places that this city has to offer.
Yoga asanas
One or two yoga sessions daily, start your day with a grounding morning yoga flow to get you feeling alive and ready for whatever comes your way. Then, as the sun sets, join Kailash Yoga Ashram for a gentle practice to help you let go of any stress you might be holding and prepare for a restful night’s sleep.
Meditation
One or two daily outdoor meditation sessions, where you will not only connect with yourself but also with nature to help you heal. Additionally, you will be taught various techniques to quiet your mind and discover your true inner self.
Pranayama
The mornings will start with simple yet powerful breathing techniques that have a profound, soul-nurturing impact by channelling vital life force. You will also learn how to use your breath as an anchor to stay in the present moment, where life truly unfolds.

Rohit initially found his way to the practice as a self-taught yogi. Indeed, he received his first book about yoga on his 14th birthday and got particularly interested in how the body and mind work. He began practicing on his own at home for some time. Later, he decided to travel for several years to many regional places such as Haridwar, Varanasi, Gangotri, and Kurukshetra, attending ashrams to deepen his yoga practice and dive into the world of meditation. Only after these years of self-practice and life experience as a real yogi did he realize where his true path leads him.
Ankit
Ankit is qualified as a yoga teacher and personal trainer. Ankit is known for his no-nonsense teaching style and super sense of humor; his colleagues consider him an invaluable source of inspiration and support. Ankit's students are made to feel at ease and comfortable through his pleasant personality and helpful guidance.
