AcroYoga Retreat in Spain
Come to enjoy five days of non-stop acro in a privileged space in the mountains of Sierra Nevada, in Southern Spain. There will be 60 spots for acrobats and AcroYogis with more than 10 international and local teachers, all coming together to share, learn, and most importantly, have fun! There will also be workshops adapted to all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced).

The main content of the workshops will be AcroYoga and partner acrobatics, L-basing and standing acro, Icarians, whips, whip-pops, hand-to-hand, handstands, Thai massage, prehab, and lots of games and fun!
Instructeurs
Carú Gonzales
Carú is a pedagogue, masseur, Acroyoga teacher certified by Partner Acrobatics, certified 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher, climber, and lover of sports, nature and all beings. He has done several trainings, courses and workshops related to Acroyoga, yoga, Capoeira, massages and bodywork. Since 2014 he has been organizing and participating and facilitating classes, workshops, retreats and events related to Acroyoga, movement, nature and bodywork in many parts of the world. For him, the movement practice helps you to connect your body, mind, and soul and develop human qualities.
David Worrow
David thinks Acro is an incredible tool of self-discovery, discovery of others, team building, and personal growth. Through Acro, he has been able to learn so much about the importance of sincerity, letting yourselves be seen, and accepting your own, and other’s vulnerability which is the essence of human connection. He is a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Cambridge English certified teacher, and Acroyoga teacher in Partner Acrobatics.
Pri
Pri is one of the yoga teachers during this training. Pri started his acroyoga and partner acrobatic journey in 2012 and since the beginning he focused on fluidity and on the investigation of new and dynamic movements. Pri loves all kinds of whipping movements with their momentum that creates fluidity as well as the feeling of freedom and the height Icarian Games oƯers them. Pri is one of the first Acro Love certified teachers in Europe. He is the creator of many acro moves, as rising Whips, tarzan 360, fish Whip-Pops, Colibri, etc.
Anna
Anna has been always involved in sport practice. Gymnastics in her childhood gave her some acrobatic abilities and body awareness. Later, she also practiced and taught pole vault, human towers, and pole sport. She discovered acroyoga in 2019 and soon she decided to focus more into dynamic and acrobatic part, focusing her practice on whips, pops and especially icarians. She uses to teach in the main international acro gatherings around the world, she is also part of the DAP teachers team.
Steve and Gina
They are bringing the acro fire all the way from San Diego! With over 10 years of experience teaching & performing together, the two delight in sharing their passion for acro across the continents at untold numbers of festivals, trainings, and events of all kinds. Gina, a former ballet dancer, is an avid surfer + yogi and runs a Pilates studio near the beach. In his nomad era, Steve fused his background as an athlete & airborne paratrooper to transform himself into a vehicle for human flight. Together, the couple lives to inspire emotion through motion and build joyful moments of connection.
Retreat locatie
“Cortijo Casería del Mercado” is located 1,250 meters high in the mountains bordering the National Park of Sierra Nevada. Nestled between the small villages of Almegíjar and Cástaras, around an hour's drive from the beautiful city of Granada. The farm is surrounded by a wide variety of flora and fauna, and boasts perfect installations for this convention.
This place is known as the “Alpujarras,” and is one of the most beautiful, emblematic, and historic areas of the Granada region. Also, it is a fantastic hiking country with spectacular mountain views and isolated “white villages.”
