Sushmita is a trained teacher in Kundalini, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga. She is a simple-hearted person who loves to share her knowledge and experience with everyone willing. She has experience teaching yoga for over 6 years for retreat and teacher training students.
Khagendra Singh
Khagendra is a certified yoga teacher trained in Kundalini, Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa disciplines with over 6 years of teaching experience in retreats and yoga teacher trainings. He focuses on: Mindful movement Breath awareness Chakra balancing Meditation techniques Nature-based grounding practices With a warm and supportive teaching style, he ensures every participant feels comfortable and connected.

Unforgettable experience
Beautiful nature around, very peaceful place, good quality of yoga and lots of new knowledge. Khagendra was very helpful. The house was clean, well equipped. We enjoyed the food and basically everything. We were treated as a princesses too.. If you need to rest from city and crowds, go for it.

Exactly what I needed
This experience was better than expected. Khagendra is a great teacher, he did everything he could to teach me as much as possible in the short time we had available (I opted for the 2nights and 3 days retreat). His wife Sushmita is lovely and super nice, as well as their kids. The place is in the middle of nowhere in a small village in the mountains, which is perfect for meditation and detoxing. The only sounds you hear are from the nature. Amazing food, clean room and comfy bed. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended :)

Great for cultural and spiritual experience
I stayed in the Rajasthan centre for 5 days - the family were incredibly kind and generous, the food was local, organic and so tasty (and you can learn to cook too). I had a go at milking the cow and making butter, and had lots of temple tours (including via camel cart) and discussions about farming (which is a main interest of mine). The main focus was on meditation and the practices surrounding yoga (rather than the poses/asana) so I learnt lots about that and was given a free spa treatment and henna. The family really couldn't do enough to help, were very good at listening to/ answering questions and were keen to make sure you had a good time. The house and bedroom were also super comfortable and in a lovely remote location.

Finding Peace
I did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to discover that this was a different way of doing Yoga than what I was used to. The goal was not to exercise but to use the Asanas plus breathing and meditation techniques to find peace and calm within. Teacher Khagendra guided me with the help of Teacher Sushmita and they were patient with me and my questions. I learned much in this course and feel like I've achieved a new level in my practice. If you want to discover the meditative side of Yoga, this course is for you!

Wonderful
I attended the 30 day online yoga retreat. As an overweight person I have always assumed yoga was not for me...but how very wrong I was! Bhumi yoga was able to design a course that perfect for my abilities. The Asanas were well suited for my level and really helped me to explore the practice of yoga and appreciate the importance of breath. The fact that I was the only person in the class meant that the instructions were at the perfect level for my ability and I was able to ask very specific questions when I found poses difficult (which I often did). We were also able to discuss the benefits of Ayurvedic diet and philosophy and I was able to ask specific questions about my weight issues. Khagendra and Sushmita answered all my questions and provided invaluable Ayurvedic advice. They really listened and were always patient and very generous with their time. What I learnt at Bhumi Yoga is that it is that yoga is not about perfection. Yoga is about dedication, breath, effort and regular daily practice. Thankyou so very much to Bhumi Yoga, I highly recommend this course. Nameste from Australia and thankyou to everyone at Bhumi Yoga.

Great and one to one
Really liked the fact that it was tailored specifically to my level of yoga. They got the Internet connection working great now as they have a new provider and tower. It was longer sessions than I expected and so was a really great experience.

Really great online yoga and meditation experience
It really helped me to get to know how to meditate and start to get to know my breathing - after my lung disease I really have difficulties. But the instructor was really explaining everything in detail and became more than a instructor more of a Guide for my health… I am super happy overall!

Wonderful teacher, wonderful experience
Teacher was very accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed both the yoga and the meditations. I was surprised there were 1-1 classes, very attentive, learned a lot. Opened my eyes to different meditation practise. Highly recommend

Virtual Indian Retreat
With this being my first yoga retreat, I wasn't sure what to expect and so I just left myself open to possibilities. I was pleasantly surprised right up front to find that this was a private, one-on-one instruction, working with my personal strengths and weaknesses. It was exciting and refreshing to connect with an instructor on the other side of the world, despite dealing with occasional tech problems. As I am unlikely to be able to travel as far as India, this was a welcome connection to a fascinating foreign culture. Khagendra went above and beyond, spending extra time with me as well as providing many health and lifestyle recommendations (though alright, I can't promise I'll never eat cheese again!) I have learned new techniques and details about breathing and asanas which I haven't encountered in Western yoga instruction, and this retreat has strengthened my commitment to a daily yoga practice, particularly to breathwork.

Wonderful experience!
The experience was exactly as described on the website but in reality was better than we could have hoped for.
The family were extremely warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The introduction to yoga was tailored to our needs and was excellent.
Overall a fabulous experience!
