The home for this retreat is Cabilla, where you will have now held four Wild Times retreats.

Guests will have full access to the Cabilla site, including the communal facilities in The Barns, from the sitting room to the monsoon showers.

Plus, shared and private accommodation is on offer in the Koyt cabins, which can be set up with twin or king-size beds as needed, and feature log burners, Egyptian cotton linens and Bramley toiletries.

Cosy up on the sofa and read a book from the library, lie in and enjoy your koyt with a hot water bottle, explore the woods or swim in the beautiful, clear Bedalder river.

Programma

The Wild Times retreats are for anyone who wants to re-wild and relax. They welcome everyone over 18 of any ability - just come with an open heart and mind.

Please note that a reasonable level of mobility and fitness is required to take part in any or all of the activities. If you're unsure if it's for you, drop The Wild Times an inquiry. If you're just finding your yogi legs, you are very welcome, but to get the most out of the yoga retreat, they recommend taking part in at least three to four yoga classes before joining.

The group will also have two optional writing workshops - one to reflect on the year you've had, and one to dream and vision big goals for the coming year. The Wild Times finds that this liminal time between Christmas and New Year's is a wonderful time for this.

Settle in before starting the retreat with tea, snacks, and the opening circle. Day one (Tuesday) will be all about grounding and resting, so you will do Yin yoga and a magical sound bath before dinner, preparing you for a good, long sleep.

Wednesday will bring morning yoga and meditation before a hearty brunch, as well as free time to walk, swim, or relax. Two optional writing workshops in the morning and afternoon. Later on, you will practice Yin yoga before a delicious dinner.

On Thursday, there will be morning yoga and meditation, brunch, walks by the sea, and wild swims. After a restorative Yin class, there will be some space before dinner, campfire, and NYE celebrations.

Friday morning - New Year's Day - you'll have an optional sea swim before a hearty breakfast. This will be followed by a closing circle and departures.

The yoga classes will be themed around the natural elements, bringing nature into your practice.

All activities will be optional but encouraged, so you can nap, read, or swim and explore - it’ll be completely up to you. Also, all activities will be weather-dependent, so The Wild Times leaves space for the schedule to change and flow!
