I would say, that the most joyful of this camp are hosts. Even you will travel alone the surf instructors and staff will help you to feel comfortable and safe! We booked this after the reading the reviews and were not disappointed. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food was so delicious, and the staff were all super kind and just great vibes all around. The instructors were very patient. Would definitely recommend.

The instructors and staff are incredibly enthusiastic. Each morning, there's good energy and a chorus of hello's that start the day off right. I loved the day trip to Imsouane...such a beautiful experience. The food was a nice addition; most surf camps that I've been to don't include meals. Accommodations were lovely. I was able to get great rest. Additionally, as a gay man, Morocco can be questionable for how comfortable I feel, but here, the staff were super welcoming and made me feel very comfortable being myself. Thank you all for that! Overall, I'd recommend this place.

I had an incredible time on my surf trip. Everything was truly outstanding, the team was extremely flexible, always willing to adapt plans to make sure everyone had the best possible experience. They consistently went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be happier with the service.

The food was delicious, and the surf lessons were both fun and very well structured. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this surf trip to anyone looking for a great mix of relaxation, adventure, and top-notch hospitality.

The team. The people working in the hotel made the trip for us. From the instructors, to the kitchen staff and reception, we were taken aback by their amazing hospitality, and how amazing they are as people. We are already planning the next visit to see them all!

As a sports instructor coming from other disciplines, I can say that while the training might not have been the most in-depth professionally, the enthusiasm, energy, and positive attitude we experienced more than made up for it.

The place is run by an excellent team, and the guests also form a real community. We were absolutely satisfied — so much so that we are sure to return!

I have been there for the second time this year - it is just the best place to recharge, surf and chill. Everyone in the crew (Abdellah, Mohamed and Mohamed, Abdeslam and the rest) are amazing, the place and the food are just perfect. Special shout out to Omar - the best teacher, never-resting motivator and the most serious UNO player there is. I already miss you all and planning my next trip in 2026.

Absolutely everything. We loved our stay since the moment we arrived. The staff is amazing, super welcoming and they make you feel home. The food is sooo good every single day, including the tupperware meals at the beach. The surf instructors are suberb, they chose very well each beach and each kind of wave for every levels, and they are really good instructors, always careful for your safety. We had also luck with the group that was there at the same time, amazing team. This was hands down one of the best experience! From the very first minute, I felt like part of the family. Mustafa's food was incredible, the accommodations were perfect, and everyone at the hotel was so kind and full of good vibes. I already miss our epic Uno battles and all the laughter.

It was cool that we stayed all day at the beach and did two sessions per day. The food and the hotel was awesome.

The staff are so welcoming, there is an instant dysfunctional family vibe joining the group. I took a risk booking a solo trip to give surfing a go and I really didn't expect to go so well. My room was lovely, the food was fantastic and supplied in abundance to fuel the surfing! The surfing lessons were amazing, everything was a laugh and I felt really well looked after. There's a strong chance this won't be my last visit to the surf hotel Morocco!

The Surf Hotel Morocco is absolutely amazing!! Before even booking Mohammed was very accomodating and tried to think along with whatever we might want and need. During the surftrip everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was nice and extensive, lunches were catered for and home made, and dinner was traditional Moroccan food and tasted delicious. They were also very accomodating when it came to allergies and dietary preferences so you still got the full Moroccan dining experience. The surfing as well was exceptionally organised. The trainers are very passionate and really put in effort to help even the most inexperienced of us catch great waves. The room was clean and spacious. Abolsutely nothing to complain, we had the best time in Morocco!

Everything about this experience was incredible - thank you so much to all the team at The Surf Hotel for being so welcoming, kind, and relaxed to help me have the best time possible. The surfing was outstanding, the guys were so knowledgable about the best spots as well as providing great coaching. I have nothing but great things to say about the Surf Hotel and the staff. Went there as a solo traveler and immediately felt like I was part of a family. The surf lessons were fantastic, I felt so safe and Abdel pushed me out of my comfort zone and got me confident in the water. Everything works si well. You get to a plane and after that you dont need to worry about anything. Hotel takes care of everything and is super helpfull if you need anything. I had a good time here. Food is really good, I learned to surf in the level I did not expect, social areas are good, staff is helpfull and nice, transport works, beds are good.

Some doors and lights here and there might need some fixing, but all in all I had really good time. Definately worth for your money.

Our 5-day surf trip was filled with amazing experiences. From the incredibly passionate instructors to the delicious dinners in the evening, every day brought new surprises. The surf hotel staff were always thoughtful and ready for a joke. After each day of surfing, we returned to a freshly cleaned room where we could unwind from the intense day. All in all, we had an amazing experience. We’ll definitely come back again.

I loved the camp organised by Surf Hotel Morocco! They treated each other like family members and created an amazing, homely atmosphere. The instructors were great, gently encouraging us to step out of our comfort zone and picking the best surf spots. We also had an evening get-together almost every day, I could not ask for a better bonding experience.

My sister an I recently came back from The Surf Hotel Morocco and that was really cool week! We had no experience with surfing before but we were able to get on the board in the water our first day! Our instructors, Abdeslam and Simo, were full of patience, helpful with catching first waves, analysing the mistakes that we make so we can improve with the next catch. Dinners after surfing sessions were really good, every day different local meal. After dinner exciting Uno sessions or other games. The rest of the team was also very caring and helpful even in cases of small health issues in the middle of the night. Thanks for awesome week!

Thank you so much for being so amazing warm supportive people 💗 I improved my surf progress from level 2 to the beginning of level 3 in 6 days, I understood why I was falling all the time and found my balance, learnt how to turn. By day 5 I was catching 90% of the waves on 8" softboard, but before this school I could not stand on board for more then 3 sec! Big thank you to amazing instructors Omar and Simo! I made new friends - a lot of people come on their own - and the food was extraordinary good (thank you chef Mustapha!!) ☀️ It's like a summer camp for adults :) Looking forward to seeing you all in Surf Hotel Morocco some time again! My husband and I recently visited The Surf Hotel Morocco, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. As beginners in surfing, we had an absolute blast. Our instructors, Abdellah and Omar, were exceptional. They were not only kind and professional but also incredibly patient, specially with me. They went above and beyond to ensure I caught my best waves, even pushing me when my arms were giving out. These guys are amazing souls, I truly hope to see them again!

Julie, the yoga instructor, was another highlight of our trip. She greeted us with a warm smile and provided excellent classes tailored to our needs after a day of surfing.

Additionally, the food provided—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was outstanding. Each meal was delicious, and they made sure to vary the menu daily so we never got tired of it.

Overall, our experience at The Surf Hotel Morocco was flawless. We left Agadir feeling incredibly grateful for the memories made. Can't wait to come back!

The hotel was excellent: clean, delicious food and such kind and friendly staff.

The surf lessons were so great- instructors were fun and friendly and very good at encouraging me. It was also really nice that when the conditions were not ideal there were other options available.

The hotel attracts lovely customers, many returning for a second trip so the group was great to hang out with and the staff encourage social time so I had a great time despite travelling solo.

The whole experience was amazing. Everyone, from the cooks to the surf instructor, and the cleaning staff was amazing!

Special mention to Naomie who will need less than 5 minutes to become your best friend and make you feel at home.

I honestly can't fault the camp.

The instructors and all the staff were amazing! Abdeslam, Simo, Abdullah and Omar were all amazing coaches and made the surfing so much fun (even on the odd occasion when the conditions were tough!). Naomi was an amazing host in the hostel, she made us all feel so welcome and joined in on all the fun!

The people really did make the camp feel like a home away from home and then, on top of that, the food and the hostel itself were great! The breakfasts were exactly what you needed before a day's surfing and the dinners were delicious. And the hostel was lovely and clean and very comfortable and the best part, in my opinion, was the rooftop terrace which has some beautiful views and is a great place to hang out in the evening!

I will be returning!

I really enjoyed my stay at The Surf Hotel Morocco. Great company, delicious food, and chill vibes. I had the feeling that I didn't have to think about anything and I could just enjoy my time, and eventually also improve my surf skills. It's been almost like being in a big family where you can understand more of the local culture. Not a party bootcamp - which is what I was looking for. Highly indicated for those who want to relax and focus on surf.

Great food. Simo our surfing instructor was considered and kind for us the beginners and we were able to stand on the board! The yoga sessions were amazing and professional. And the Christmas treat was thoughtful and surprising. All communication was easy and punctual.

Where do I start? There is a reason that so many people come back to the Surf Hotel Morocco because everyone there treats you like you are family and all the staff will go above and beyond to make sure you are cared for. They will go out of their way to take you to the best spots for surf. We had Simo taking us for a surf guiding, although we were unlucky with the surf swell he did everything he could to make every day a pleasant experience, the food every day is amazing and the hotel is such an incredible place, especially the roof terrace and sunsets. You will not regret booking this place and I am already looking at when I can go next. Thank you everyone at the Surf Hotel Morocco.

There was lots of opportunity to surf and there was only a few participants per instructor so you got lots of support and advice. Everyone at the camp was really friendly and wanted you to have a great time. When the weather wasn’t good for an afternoon surf, they took us surf skating which was really fun. The food was incredible, breakfast had lots of different parts and was different each day. You got lunch on the beach and then a three course dinner with the rest of the guests. In the evenings we had yoga, in the studio you could see the sunset over the sea and the view over Tamraught. The instructor was lovely and catered for all levels. Upstairs there was a ping pong table and lots of games to play when you had a free time and wanted to chill out. The staff were also really caring and made sure my friend was okay when she was feeling ill. Fab experience, would definitely go back!

The hotel team is like a family. Very kind and attentive to every detail. They try to find individual approach to everyone and they do it great!

Frankly, I’ve booked it without having taken a good look and just because it was the best rated one on Google. Now I understand why. From the pick up at the airport until the drop off at the airport everything is as expected, if not better. Great food, absolutely amazing atmosphere in the camp, incredible instructors whom patience is only surpassed by their sense of humour, clean and safe place… the kind of trip one never forgets. So much fun. And eventually managed to stand the board and surf!! just thank you all & for sure see you all very soon again!

Everything! The food, the locals, the kind travellers we met, the cosy social areas, the lovely rooms and bathrooms, air con!! Great wifi (though we were hardly on phones), such kind and considerate staff

Myself and a friend checked in to the surf hotel and stayed for 4 nights so we had 3 full days of surfing and yoga. Omar was so patient and his passion for surfing was really encouraging. He made our experience memorable. We finished the day with yoga with Oliaga which was both relaxing and challenging. Ending with gratitude whilst watching the sunset was a surreal experience. From absolute beginners to being able to catch waves after 3 days was amazing. The whole team were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating we can’t fault them for anything. This trip was last minute and turned out to be way better than either of us expected. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone as we both truly didn’t want to leave and wished we booked to go for longer. If you’re thinking about trying it out definitely DO IT you will not regret it.

Much more than expected! This was my first surf camp and the first time surfing at all. The surf instructors were great and great fun. I really enjoyed the time with them and the other amazing people in the camp / hotel. But the hotel and the food alone is worth a stay. Now, back home, I am still impressed by the hospitality and the cool team.

As an inexperienced surfer the coaches were very helpful during my short trip. They found waves of a good size for me and helped me improve. All of the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food is amazing too!

Thanks to some great waves and the fantastic instructors, I felt like I made more progress in a short time here than I have at any other camp or lesson. Everyone here was absolutely lovely- warm, welcoming, and fun. The other campers were a fantastic international group, and we all quickly became friends. The instructors are able to tailor the sessions for all ability levels, and will even split the group up in order to get everyone on the best waves for their level. The staff at the hotel is great as well- the airport pickup and check in went seamlessly even though my flight arrived later than scheduled. I arrived between lunch and dinner times so they helped me order some food for delivery which was great. The dinners and all of the meals provided were absolutely amazing, and the rooftop dining during sunset in the evenings is just sublime. I would love to go back again in the future, and I highly highly recommend booking this place if you want a laid back spot to do some surfing (at any level) and meet some great people!

I had a really good time. The food was amazing, I did not have 1 bad meal. All the staff were good laugh. Instructors knew what they were doing and also cared about you getting better, giving tips and pointers all the time. Honestly for a first surf camp trip I could not of picked a better place to go!

It was my first solo travel and I couldn't have felt more welcomed when I was here. I only stayed for 4 nights but in that time I've made some amazing friends from all over the world and had lots of banter with the instructors. On the 1st night I arrived quite late in the night due to a late flight, but even so I was still greeted at the door and offered food from the previous meal which I wasn't expecting at all but was well appreciated.

We got shown a good variety of beaches and had lots of freedom to do our own thing as well if we wanted too. Super cool group of guys will definitely visit again.

The yoga facility was absolutely beautiful and very nice, the food was amazing (and accommodated me as a vegan for every meal), and the hotel was very clean, quiet, and spacious. The surfing was also very cool!!! As a beginner I wasn’t sure what to expect but the instructors, especially Omar, make you feel comfortable and teach you everything you need to know. The yoga instructor was also top notch.

It was actually one of the best surf experiences. The accommodation was nice, with daily cleaning and fresh towels! I cannot begin to tell you the cooks of the place are amazing with gastronomical levels of meals 3 times a day. Not to mention the super friendly staff, lovely and professional instructors, and the owner Habib is an absolute legend! Coming back surely

This was a great experience. The most we liked was the personal approach to each participant by the staff. As a solo traveler all the the way from Sweden i didn’t know what to expect from this trip. Turned out to be the best trip of my life! All the staff were super warm and kind, the food was great, the surf hotel is awesome and i meet new friends from all over the world. The scheduale was very proffesional and a really appreciated a good breakfast before the surfing lesson, lunch at the beach and a beautiful dinner after yoga in the sunset at the rooftop.

As a surf-beginner i learnd to take my own wawes and i feel more confident and inspired now.

We had a fantastic time at the Surf Hotel Morocco. We couldn't have asked for better service - from the airport pickup to three excellent meals a day, comfortable rooms and superb surf lessons, the amazing team took care of all our needs. Everyone was extremely welcoming and we felt part of the family in no time.

The surf lessons were great - everyone was met exactly at their level, given personalised feedback and we made loads of progress in just a week. Omar and Mobarek definitely brought the energy every day and we had loads of fun in and out of the water.

We loved the food - it was delicious and plentiful every single day. The varied breakfast was always a great start to the day and the lunches brought to the beach between surf sessions were a special treat. The three course dinners were just the icing on top of the cake.

We can't recommend the Surf Hotel Morocco family enough! They made sure we had an amazing time, including making it possible to have an extra surf session on our departure day, showing us the Souk in Agadir and taking us skateboarding. Can't wait to come back.

I cannot say enough good things about The Surf Hotel. Everyone (Habib, Omar, Yassine, Mohamed, Noureddine, and team) was lovely, generous, kind, and professional. The hotel itself is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated. The meals were delicious. Omar and Habib were stellar instructors.

When I checked in on the first night, Habib said, "We're not like one of the big, formal hotels. Here, you're like family." Habib and team made good on that promise - this place felt like home.

The staff is extremely friendly and always there if you need anything, the hotel is a great chill place with high quality food and services. The surf coaches are extremely professional while super friendly. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone who wants to go surf in Morocco !

Very professional team, the instructors certainly try very hard to make you progress and learn how to surf. I started my surf camp barely catching green waves and ended turning and surfing the waves up and down. Also, the yoga classes with Catherine were perfect, there's a place at the rooftop especifically for yoga with all the material needed. The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Meals were delicious and abundant. We did also a one-day trip to Imsouane and for the days that waves were difficult to find, we looked for them untill we found some. I strongly recommend this place!!

I've worked in tourism at retreat centers for several years and can attest to what a special place this is and what a great job they do at The Surf Hotel. The staff is all amazing-from Noureddine at reception to the chefs, to the owner, housekeeping and all the surf instructors-everyone makes you feel welcome and taken care of! I think the staff and family vibe is a huge part of what makes this place special. They are also excellent at making sure everything is taken care of but while staying super chilled haha. I loved the terrace and the extra amenities like the drums, guitar, karaoke, yoga space and props, and ping pong table. They had a great board selection that seemed new as well as new wetsuits. The surf instructors were good at giving simple things to focus on to improve without being overwhelming, and were excellent at keeping great vibes and making everyday fun. I was grateful for the feedback session and the photos and was impressed by their ability to find waves for us everyday. Morocco is a great place to learn to surf as there's such a variety of spots and I loved being able to try such different breaks. The location is great as you can walk to the beach or to some shops and cafes and the view is truly amazing! They accommodated my vegetarian diet and the food is great and the dinner is especially generous. Good wifi, hot water showers, and heaters in the rooms. I hope to return again next year! A big thanks again to everyone!!

In The Surf Hotel Morocco we had a wonderful time.

Every minute of this trip was a pleasure: administration of the hotel is willing to help and quite flexible, the food, the atmosphere and the instructors.

One day there were no waves, so surfing was impossible. Instead of that we were offered a variety of activities and the owner of the place spent that day with us.

After dinner you can have small talks with other guests, play board games or just chill on the roof.

I would definitely recommend this camp for visiting.

Spent a week at this camp, and it was the best experience possible. It felt like home for ne, extremely welcoming and friendly. Will be missing those sunsets sets at the terrace and amazing food. As for instructors, they are very professional and patient, but super fun to work with, and very invested in making you reach your goals. I haven't found such an intense training anywhere else, and it is certainly the best worth of money.

The surf hotel is one of the best places I have stayed they make you feel like part of the family. The hotel food surfing and yoga were out of this world! All the instructors were great really knew what they were talking about. Will definitely be back

Just back form 5 days at The Surf Hotel and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. From the warm, personal welcome to the authentic food provided. Everything was as I had hoped; each days’ activity was well organised. All the instructors helped me at various points over the week and although I was in a group with mixed abilities I never once felt like I was being taught above or below my level or surf ability. The hotel was clean and bright and I was immediately welcomed by all the staff and other guests as a friend. Whether in a small group or travelling solo I can highly recommend the whole Surf Camp experience.

YOGA: Great teacher adapting for all levels, also asking what we want during practice and adapting the sessions.

The sunrise and sunset over the ocean during the morning and evening sessions are spectacular.

THE SURF

The team is fantastic. Everything is explained, you try wetsuits the day before, the instructor gives you the correct board for your level (and change when you improve). Warm up is done all together, then in the water there is one instructor for five people only. They help you recognize a good wave, position yourself to catch it nicely. And they push you if your speed is too low.

The instructors provide all the time detailed feedback for helping you to improve.

First of all I love the people from thesurfhotelmorocco, they have such a good vibe and they send that to all of their clients and that makes that place really special. And is not just the vibe, is also they way they train you and the way they are involved in everything they do and also their passion. And then is the place and the food which are awesome and I love them. Last but not least is they way they organize everything, is...just perfect.

What an amazing experience, from start to finish it was flawless. Staff were professional, helpful and fun. Hotel was bigger and better than the pictures, (that's a first) very impressed. Organisation was impeccable. The people I met were fabulous and welcoming. I spend NY there and Habib pulled out all the stops to make it an unforgettable time. Buffet, drinks, steak , all vegans and veggies catered for. DJ and even traditional Moroccan dancers / musicians. I would whole heartily recommend this place for any ages. I traveled with my 12 year old son and we both loved the experience with the Surf Hotel Morocco. The rooms were very clean, the staff was AMAZING- you become part of their family. We played Mikado or other games in the evenings. You never had such fresh food in your life. I miss the food already... . You will definitely take great feedback home from your surf instructors. They make it fun being out surfing all day.

You connect with people that travel from all over the world and having a “family style dinner” is so special connecting in the evening. Yes there are things for your child to do. But my 12 year old was sooo exhausted every night. A great experience on every level. Moroccan people are the kindest I have gotten to meet.

I have to say, the past two weeks have been amazing. I love people working there -they are soooo funny and lovely.

For surfing, instructors are really responsible. Every morning, they will acompany us into the water and teach us how to correctly stand up, turn ur direction and how to cath green waves, to speed, to turn.

Moreover, every week, there is a picture analysis session( a bit funny to see each surfers "shitting" pics and "ninja" moves) to help you improve further.

For food, omg, it's amazing. I have tried Tagine pot which I was obssesive with, couscous with lamb or beef, Turkey for Christmas!!! and kinds of delicious desserts! Orange cheese cake, tbh, is so damn good. There were even buffets and cocktails, wine for New year Eve!

What I love most: People working there as I said before, there are so funny and responsible. When I came to hotel, my ear was clogged so bad, and Habib drove me to prive clinic to get it clean so that I can enjoy the following stays. Thank you again!; And people I meet there, who are easy-going, hilarious and energetic. It's fun to learn different things in French, Italian, Romanian, German and Slovinian and etc.

Trust me, Once you come to this amazing hotel, u will definitely want to come back again!!!!

This was an amazing stay in Surf Hotel Morocco, I’m full of emotions, but let me be specific:

1. Rooms and hotel territory - super clean and nice, a lot of shared areas where you can chill.

2. Surf lessons - very professional, every day it’s several groups for different levels are organized, so that you can stick to one that best fits you,coaches will Be there for you. Brand new wetsuits are provided, quite thick to keep warm while you are in water. Coaches are very nice and fun, encourage you to progress, however no pushing. Thank you Abdullah, Mohhamed, Yanis!

3. The meal - just delicious. Nourishing breakfasts, tasty lunches delivered in personal boxes right on the beach, and just wonderful dinners always served with salad and desert. I was lucky to join Xmas dinner as well, and in was unforgettable turkey with very fine starters. Thank you, the Chief!

4. Yoga - lessons with sunrise and sunset view, very gentle guiding, the teacher constructs a class with understanding who her students are and deep knowledge of yoga. Very flexible in terms of physical load and types of yoga to practice. Thanks Elena!

5. The main one - people who work there. Very welcoming, helpful, caring about customers, fun and easy going, nice, trying to make every day perfect for you. Every my ask was satisfied. Every my need was fulfilled. Hotel owner often organizes some some leisure for evening like live music. All of these of course attract wonderful visitors, You’ll have a great company.

The strongest asset of The Surf Hotel Morocco are its People! Habib and his Crew took great care of us, doing their best to make our holiday experience as smooth and pleasant as possible. A big 'thank you' goes to each of you guys!

Yoga classes were fantastic. Léo is an experienced and sympathetic teacher, each time proposing a very well thought sequence and pace of yoga positions, adjusted for the group members' capabilities. She is a warm and mindful person but also knows how to motivate the students to make an effort.

Surfing classes were also very good, Hassan proved to be a very experienced teacher, with an ability to give hints and correct errors in a simple and straightforward way and ready to answer 'silly' questions all over again.

And last but not least... delicious vegetarian food, nutritious and nicely served.

From the moment i set foot in The Surf Hotel, i felt welcome, and knew it’s going to be a great experience. It felt like a home away from home because the crew, and also the other lovely guests, were so friendly and made me feel at ease. Especially the crew is willing to go that extra mile to make the guests happy and they take really good care of everyone.

The hotel has nice and clean rooms, the food is freshly cooked everyday (super super delicious!!) and the surf and yoga lessons were great.

The instructors took good care of me, spent a lot of time with the guests in the water to teach, and gave great feedback on how to improve. They have a good eye for detail and encouraged me everyday to get the most out of myself and the surfing.

There is a fare amount of beaches to choose from so they will take you to the best places for a good surf.

Besides surfing and yoga they offer some trips. For example to the souk or the dunes for sand surfing. We even had lovely evening at the beach with a campfire, food, drinks and music.

Most of all i loved all the fun and laughs we had because the crew makes an effort to eat with the guests, play games, sing karaoke or play ping-pong. For me it really was an amazing time and i can’t wait to go back!!

Leo was a great yoga teacher really focused on every person's technique in each class, i have done a lot of yoga previously but felt i learnt a lot from leo. The food every day was faultless and varied and just what you needed after an active day. Hassan was an amazing surf instructor and i felt i really progressed and learnt the technique in my short time there (even catching my own waves by day 2). The other instructors were also always on hand to help and encourage you making it a great experience. The surf photos were a great touch also! Thank you - i will be back next year!

Everything was so great. Instructors are very kind and caring. The yoga lessons with Léo are so so excellent. The food is more than delicious. Habib the owner cares a lot about the guests and his team is caring each minute. The room is cleaned each day very well. Towels for the beach are at disposal each day. Beach umbrellas are installed on the beach so you can be protected...I can't tell each details because there are so many....Thank you to everyone for this wonderful week.

Everything was way better than I’ve imagined!

People are great, the atmosphere was amazing - everyone who was joining the group felt like home the first day they come <3 Omar was my instructor and every tip he gave to my group was just in point ! The Hotel is just the right size: small enough for enough interaction with the surf teachers. And large enough for a good group experience.

I just wish I had more time than my six days...

I like to eat a lot and I was worried there wasn’t going to a lot of food, but there was plenty and all tasted amazing, the coaches worked hard for you to make sure you had everything you needed and to get you to the best spots, there was a wide variety of breaks we went to which I enjoyed didn’t feel like you was stuck in one spot, they had a variety of boards to choose from so you can try different boards to find one that suited you, everyone was super friendly and helpful, this was my first camp and I’m glad it was, definitely will return again!

When I was booking the holiday, I wanted somewhere I could relax and surf and do yoga, never did I think it would be exactly what I wanted. Everything was super well organised, the quality of the food was excellent, the surf instruction meant that I progressed loads, the quality of the equipment is great, the yoga sessions were intimate and personalised to our aches and pains, and all I had to do was remember to pick up a fresh beach towel on the way out every day!! I was able to properly switch off like I’ve never done on a holiday before - it was wonderful!!

Beautifully decorated and very clean hotel, intense yoga exercises twice a day with a view on ocean. Great stretching after a day of surfing in the evening! Delicious food, different every day and also suited for vegetarians. Nice breakfasts with fresh juices, lunches eaten on the beach. Very accommodating, nice and easy personnel. And finally last, but not least, motivated, competent and fun surf teachers, who really took great care of us!

I loved the positive energy of the staff. They really felt more like friends. Everyone was caring and attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious and nutritious. The motivation to surf from the instructors was great as well. I mostly enjoyed the yoga practice and the yoga instructor, Leo. She is extremely conscientious and looks to make the experience the best for the guest. The same goes for Rashid, the surf instructor.

The vibe was sincere and positive

Everything was just as expected and probably even better, when my friends and I stayed at the Surf Hotel Morocco. The ambience is very relaxed; a stress free zone. We’re greatful for having been surrounded by such a welcoming and friendly staff. We really appreciated the flexibility, both when it came to activities and mealtimes. There are so many opportunities in addition to surfing, so you’ll never be bored. Personally, I was very pleased with the yoga classes with very skilled teacher, Irina.

The food alone is worth a stay at this hotel, and you’ll never go hungry. One of the people from our group was gluten intolerant, but this was never an issue for her.

Great facilities with an amazing view (especially the roof top terrace and yoga studio). And we came home to squeaky clean rooms everyday!

All in all: we’ll definitely come back, and would recommend this hotel to other future guests.

Firstly, the food was absolutely incredible; in the mornings you're given fresh fruit juices, pastries, pancakes, eggs, lunch is provided on the beach after surfing and dinner is a 3-course meal. Definite highlight was the chocolate fondant - thank you chef, Mohammed, Mustafa!

Yoga was beautiful every morning and evening - Irina is an incredible teacher who taught me so much.

Surfing was great - Omar pushed me to really try and progress and the waves in June are perfect for those trying to improve.

The hotel is lovely - I was in the shared room although I had it to myself. Every evening we would play table tennis, uno etc. on the balcony with the sunset and stars! I really recommend taking a trip out to the Agadir souk as well.

Overall it is the people who made my stay perfect - I travelled on my own (and encourage others especially if you're worried) and all the staff made me feel like part of the family. Habib who owns the hotel is a gracious host.

Habib and all the staff at The Surf Hotel made our stay one that we will remember for a very long time. My son and I enjoyed the friendly and relaxed atmosphere around hotel. Excellent fresh food provided by the chefs daily and the evening dinners together on the roof top was one of the highlights of our trip. Rashid, Omar and Mohamed (aka jimmy) were all very helpful with our surfing requirements. We would highly recommend this hotel and surfing experience.

A prefect combination of Moroccan culture and surf life. Everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel is newly renovated and comfortable. The staff are all warm and amazing. Everyone feels great, like one big family. They pay attention to detail and really make sure the guests are cared for. The food is out-of-this-world delicious!! And generous portions.

I had a birthday during the camp and Habib, the owner, went all out with drinks, cake, and live traditional Berber music!

It was the best week.

I recommend it to ANYONE. I was a solo female new to surfing, but there were couples, solo men, father and son... all ages and nationalities and surfing levels. It works for everyone.

I had booked this experience to help me unwind from a very difficult time, and I didn't really have to think about anything once I've gotten on the flight. I was brought from the airport to the hotel and checked in to a comfortable room. From then on, all I had to do was show up for yoga on the rooftop, surfing at the beach and mealtimes (I'm dairy free and they did everything they could to accommodate), with wonderful company and a lot of care and attention shown by the staff. A wonderful experience that I would love to repeat again.

Really friendly helpful staff, excellent food. Hotel was clean and modern and surf tuition was great with instructors always trying to find the best waves on the day. If you are looking for a surfing package I really recommend this highly. The staff made the experience, all really friendly and welcoming. My daughter and her friend went from never having surfed before to riding green waves within a week! Loved it! Also have to give praise to chef who produced really lovely food including vegan option which was always interesting and tasty.

The whole teams takes a great care of guests. Everyday we had an awesome food prepared for us. Instructors know the local beaches very well and everyday they found us the best waves in the area. In case the waves weren't so good they had prepared some other program for us. Trip to Imsouane was awesome with very long waves. Coaches are very skilled with beginners and in the area there is generally a lot people on beginner to intermediate level. Everyone is super friendly and I was happy to meet other surfers, we often spend time together during practice or in the evenings. Oh, and did I mention food? Every dinner we tried something different from the local cuisine with dessert. If I stayed longer I would surely become fat from the all good food we had :)

Everything ran smoothly, From airport pickup to the timely pickups from the daily surf excursions. Yoga instruction was top notch provided by experienced instructors. Big kudos to Irene. Meals were superb. Made to order Kitchen downstairs in the lobby was an added convenience. Rooms offered daily housekeeping and fresh towels. Daily beach towels. Dinner on the rooftop terrace. Hotel situated in a village that overlooks the beach and sea. Several Surf related shops in the village to go shopping. Made great friends, I’ll be back.

From beginning to end, everything was amazing. The instructors were professional and friendly, the hotel was spotless with a great area to hang out in the evenings. The food was absolutely delicious. The chefs put a lot of ime and love into each dish. It was the best food I ate in Morocco.

I was particularly impressed with the surf instruction at the camp. I have had a number of surf classes in the past, but the instructors have never come out the back with me. It is a lot easier to get corrections when they are there, rather than whistling and waving from the beach. Instructions were always very clear, rather than "paddle more" I have heard 20 times before, the instruction would be, "do that again, but do two more paddles".

All the instructors are really passionate about surfing and always try and find the best beach with something for everyone.

The yoga was also great, with a vinyasa style class in the morning and restorative in the afternoon after surf. If we had to leave early because of tides and there was the no time for yoga in the morning the evening class was extended. It was all very flexible for peoples needs.

The in house chef and kitchen staff are amazing, I can't really remember any meals over two weeks I did not enjoy. Probably the only surf camp where you actually gain weight!

If you’re looking for a surf hotel/camp in Morocco, I am delighted to say your search is over. Surf Hotel Morocco is AMAZING! The rooms are sparkling clean, the food is amazing, and the surf instructors are patient, friendly, and incredibly helpful. If you put the effort in, you’ll definitely (at least) be standing by the end of the week and feel confident on a surfboard.

I cane here with a friend who’s on a long term backpacking trip and he agreed that this was a highlight. You can tell Yvonne and Habib put a lot of effort and love into making this a special, cozy, family environment. The vibesssss!! Top notch and especially perfect for solo travelers.

Also, just gotta mention the food again. I thought I was gonna lose weight from surfing... Alas, no such luck, but had luck in the form of delicious, home cooked goodness :)

Choosing The Surf Hotel was one of my best decisions in 2019 so far! From the food to the staff to the accommodations, everything at The Surf Hotel was top-notch. Food was absolutely phenomenal!!! (3-course dinners 6 nights a week...the desserts were divine). The hotel itself was very charming, spacious, and clean. I particularly loved the roof deck and how the yoga studio was sundrenched throughout the day. The friendly and helpful staff made sure everyone was taken care of and felt comfortable. All the instructors (yoga and surf) were passionate about their work and were effective teachers with a great sense of humor. Honestly, I loved everything about it and only have positive things to say. I am already looking at tickets to return to The Surf Hotel later this year!

The instructors and staff were all very helpful and friendly. Yvonne and Habib were always available for questions or help. It felt more like being with friends than at a surfing course. I had never surfed before, and was anxious about standing up on the board, but Omar and Lokmane were very supportive and I got over my fears pretty quickly. It was also nice to be able to advance at my own pace, with no rush. We were always taken to the best available waves each day, with plenty of extra activities to chose from, so we never had any trouble with what to do. The hotel was nice and the food really delicious. Really. I had never been to Morocco before, but I'm sure to return to Habib and his crew for surfing :)

I loved the building itself, so many different common areas, so you weren't confined to your room. The room was spacious though and very comfortable. The surf instructors were thorough, enthusiastic and down to earth. The yoga was perfect for warming up for surf and stretching down. Food was abundant and they catered for the energetic. Really amazing place to stay.

When you arrive, you get welcomed by the amazing driver and once you arrive at the hotel, it's like you arrive home, but better. Amazing staff, amazing food, great rooms, a wonderful rooftop, awesome surf instructors... Everyone is extremely helpful and kind, and Habib & Yvonne make sure you have an amazing stay. Just go!

Everyone, from the hostel staff to the yoga and surf instructors, was so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure I had a fantastic experience. From being picked up at the airport to being dropped off at the bus station you are completely looked after which makes the whole stay totally stress free, which is exactly what I was looking for. I was a complete beginner to surfing but the instructors were fantastic and seemed to take genuine pleasure in watching your progress. Yoga in the sunroom for sunrise and sunset was a perfect way to loosen stiff muscles after a long day’s surfing! Big thank you to Yvonne, Habib, Rashid, Omar, Elena and everyone else for a fantastic trip!

The whole experience was amazing. Organizing the trip with personalised needs went smooth and fast.

Once here, the family-like team created a cosy atmosphere so all of us could feel home from the very first moment. I arrived just in time for couscous where everyone ate together which made a great intro for the next day's surfing.

All surf instructors (I was with Omar, Lokmane and Rashid) were open, watchful, caring and obviously true professionals, so I always felt safe and enabled to push my limits as I'd like. They always picked the best waves for us in the surroundings where we surfed as long as we were able to in very small groups (2-3 persons for 1 instructor) and received constant personal advice. It was easy to grow, so every day was challenge and pleasure at the same time.

The community of the guests was also amazing - somehow we all felt the vibe of the place instantaneously and loved our time together while having a smoothie on the gorgeous rooftop terrace, a nicely tuned yoga class, or just reanimating our arms after a testing set of waves. I've made some great friends and more here and we started to plan our return together right away : )

The food is the greatest I've had at any holiday - if my Grandma was Moroccan, I believe she'd cook like this.

Yvonne and Habib are the most generous hosts ever and every member of their team shares their passion of introducing this wonderful part of Morocco.

I booked my trip pretty late, It was a spontaneous idea. Everybody told me I'm crazy that I'm going to Morocco alone but I didn't care.

I knew that something is there for me, something from above was telling me - go there, go surf there. I met so many awesome people from all over Europe.

All the surf instructors were super awesome.

The kitchen chefs were amazing, so good food.

The sunsets were breathtaking.

Yoga was perfect.

Everything was perfect...

The atmosphere in the Surfhotel was great. I had the feeling to be part of a small family and everybody was super kind and friendly. The food was delicious and I think I never had a better culinary week in my life.

The surfguiding was also really nice. I got to know to so many spots in the region and we always checked different breaks for the best waves. I learned a lot about surfing and the ocean in general.

I definitely plan to come back and thank you to all the guys from the Surfhotel for the amazing time.

The food was very nice, and all people were very approachble and nice! We received a lot of help from the reception. The surfing was great and we got to experience something new every day!

Everything went perfectly fine. From the pick-up at Agadir airport on the first day to the drop off on the last day. The daily program was clearly annouced, the surfing was great, thanks to the wise counseling of the instructors. The food was also really good and enjoyable, with a good introduction to moroccan's diverse gastronomy. The rooftop was the perfect place to chill after a heavy day of surfing, and it felt like being welcomed in the family of the Hotel. I'll be back for sure !

From the airport pick up to the airport drop off we were taken care off! We had by mistake chosen the surf guiding package, but it was easily upgraded to surf coaching package at the reception. Very good organisation over all in the hotel and really friendly staff (Habib, driver, reception, kitchen, coaches..)! Really cosy and relaxed atmospere! The hotel is also very cosy and clean and the private room was very nice. Daily cleaning in the room! Hot water every day from the shover (in our last surf holiday it wasn't). Plenty of food and the food quality was also very good, specially the dinners, amazing! :) The surf coaching was also good and what I like the most the style of coaching was calm (especially Omar Sr., also Lokmane).

This winter we had only one week holiday and this was the perfect way to spend it! We really felt after the trip that it was longer than one week, which is quite rare to us! This is one place you want to come back again :) And now I would go this instant, it's almost -30c outside :D

What an amazing surfing experience. It was really over our expectations. My wife and I were picked up at the airport. Once at the hotel we were warmly welcomed, the stuff is really nice and friendly. They make you feel at home. The Hotel and all the facilities are very clean (the rooms are done every day), a nice sunny rooftop terrace where you can enjoy wonderful sunsets. The food is excellent and delicious. Two Thumbs-up for the Hotel chef and his team. The surfing sessions were awesome!! The coaching team members are very experienced surfers, professional and attentive (Abdellah, Omar, Lokmane & Habib). They love teaching and sharing their passion for surfing in a friendly and warmly way. They support and make everyone feel confident and show tips and tricks to progress very fast. You’ll with no doubt catch your first unbroken wave even if you haven’t any surfing experience. They took us to many different breaks so that we can experience different kind of waves… A huge Thanks to Mohammed the photographer for the great pictures. We had a lot of fun. Thank you so much Habib, Yvonne, Abdellah, Omar, Lokmane, Mohammed and all the staff (Sorry for the ones whose names I’ve forgotten). We had great time with you guys. We love this place and we’ll be back for sure again and again. We do strongly recommend this surf camp!

This retreat is like being part of a family. I cannot rate it more highly - they want everyone to have the best possible experience

From the moment I got there I was taken in. (late on a Saturday)

Included in the family of the Surf Hotel involved in what we were doing, even though I'd never surfed before.

First Day

Wake up for breakfast No Idea what to expect went down for food and completely taken care off.,

A Guide(surfing guide) took me to get a wet suit? (the guides are brilliant)

Then on to breakfast Oh My the food you need it ate so much each day (still lost weight)

Then on to surfing the travel to the surf.(amazing) finding the right surf for our level the guides again.

The warming up the being part of the group then going into the surf the learning (the failing on my part) the guides never failed us always encouraged (loved)

Then lunch brought to the beech?? who knew not me that such things happened.

Then talking with your guides. your fellow surfers how to surf???

Then back to surfing (or trying to surf in my case)

ALL IN THE GORGEOUS MOROCCAN SUNSHINE.

Back to the hotel shower relax then a lovely Morocco dinner around 8 then Trust me you need to sleep.

And that was just the first day of my Moroccan Holiday I experienced so much here met so many great people.

Each day the Surf Hotel cared loved and catered for us took us to new experiences and genuinely wanted us to have a good time.

Lunch on a cliff top :-) driving us every where and really caring for us the food was always great on the beach or in the hotel and you could never wish for better guides or people :-)

I am so grateful to Habib and all of the people who work so hard to make the Surf Hotel such a special place. While the surfing was great, the food delicious, the beds clean and comfortable, the showers hot, the... etc. etc. What makes this place truly special are the people. Habib, the owner, is one of the kindest and friendliest people I have met who goes above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. I also got the impression that he treats the staff the same way. That sets the tone and the vibe for the whole experience.

SURF: I am an intermediate surfer and chose the surf guiding package which was perfect. Lokmane took me and the other guests with surf experience to the best waves at any given time. Lokmane was very knowledgable and taught me how to be a smarter surfer. Over the course of the week he also became a friend. The positive energy and attitdudes of all the guides are what make the surf hotel so special.

HOTEL: Incredible food. In both quality and quantity. I looked forward to every meal... both because I was really hungry from surfing, but also because there was such tasty variety!

I liked being in Tamraght; it's very quiet and peaceful. All of the staff were so kind and friendly (Nordan at the desk and Mohammed behind the camera lens). The vibes were chill and I did not feel like there were a bunch of people taking care of my every whim (even though they basically were) - it felt like a lot of love, kindness and, truly like a family.

Such a friendly, familiar atmosphere! If you want to improve your surfing, you should definitely come here

What did I like the most? Actually all- the morning yoga, the surf lessons, the dinner & the evening yoga but especially the people who made me feel like part of their big family. So many great conversation, music, in door board, UNO games. I travelled alone and from the first Moment i felt warmly welcomed by the people. I enjoyed the place so much that I almost spend a month there (extended my stay for another 11 days). I arrived with no surfing experience and because of their endless patients and motivation I „could“ go surfing now on my own but I rather come back to my new family

Long version:

I appreciate that they pick you up at the airport, not a fan of the eventual hustle of asking for information, riding multiple busses to point A,B and C before getting to where I want to be. When I got to the hotell everyone welcomed me warmly and I felt at ease at once. The staff is flexible, friendly and will do everything to make you have a good time under their roof. The facilities are very clean (the rooms are done every day just to give you an idea). Shortly after I arrived I got my first dinner...and wow the food here is fantastic! The kitchen staff really puts in an effort to mix it up to tease ur tastebutts. As for the surfing the instructors are very experienced, they know the area and the waters very well. My personal instructor were Lokmane. Lokmane have a passion to teach and to make his students better during their time at the camp. I highly recommend him, that being said the other instructors is also tip top so no matter which one you get you're set! They solve the issue of being tied to one beach for the whole week by having their own vehicles. That also means you get to see a lot of the the area. I couldn't be more happy over deciding on this place, the best trip I did so far!!

"If you weren't sad to leave and go back to your everyday life, it wouldn't be a wonderful holiday" that's what my roommate told me my last day of staying. That said, all reviews tell the truth: good food, clean rooms, nice trips, but especially lots of surfing and super friendly people (both the guests and the hotel crew). I definitely recommend it!

The hotel is very clean and the staff so nice, there was a super chill vibes all around and the guest can really relax and have the best fun; personally, I'd never stop laughing one minute!. The food is always freshly made starting from the breakfast, rich and tasty. Definitely recomend it, I'll definitely go back there again!

Very clean place with warm atmosphere, proactive and friendly hosts, amazing food and lovely terasse! Enjoyed both surfing and yoga classes on a daily basis, trip to Agadir and Paradise valley. Had an enjoyable stay and would love to come again next season!

I booked this camp as a solo female traveler and I had a lot of fun!

Surf coaching in the morning and surf supervising in the afternoon. I got a lot better with the tips and tricks from all the coaching team (since I had a little of surf experience). Small groups, they separate you along your surfing capacity.

I also had the opportunity to do some yoga “à la carte”, really great to relax and strech after a long day at the beach!

Excellent food, diverse and delicious made by the chef of the hotel.

Great rooms. I stayed in the dorm and it was really really really clean, over my expectations!

Fun nights playing games/listening to music/enjoying the warm weather of morroco.

I recently visited this location. It was an absolutely amazing trip. The food was absolutely amazing and authentic. All the staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating to any needs. The overall atmosphere at this hotel was a real pleasure, it is very much a home away from home. From the amazing terrace to the professional coaching by the instructors and also warm welcome you receive from Habib and Yvonne. I could continue to go on about how great this place was as it is endless of the quality of service provided by this hotel.

I didn’t find any mistakes in organization

It was my first time in Morocco and my first experience on a surfboard. Well, what should I say? BIG thanks to the wonderful Surf Hotel Morocco team – they did their best to make us feel comfortable, enjoy every minute of our vacation.

My day began with a morning yoga session which was held on a yoga terrace. If I came a bit earlier, I could enjoy the starry sky and after a few minutes there were the first beams of a dawn.

Every day we were trying to catch our waves under the guidance of the professional instructors. Well, I was not perfect, I should admit it, but it was so much fun. I think that surfing is one of the most positive activates human can take to feel happy and excited. So, as I said to my instructors, although I was not the best this time, I will come again and I will be a good surfer, I feel it!

Food! I need to type an extra paragraph about the food! Although, I was the only vegetarian in the whole group, it did not stop the chef from cooking vegetarian dishes just for me! Yummy tagine, couscous with pumpkin and tomato sauce, pasta with spinach, vegetable saute, Moroccan tea and mmmmmm tempting desserts…. I was in a paradise and I am willing to come back again.

I came there on my own and I do not regret it at all. Everything was amazing - surf, food, Yoga, the team, the instructors,etc. Huge thanks for the week it was super fun!

Just returned home from the most AMAZING week at The Surf Hotel. Great instructors, very friendly and welcoming. They’ll soon make you feel part of the family. Very clean hotel, fabulous food! Yoga on the rooftop for sunrise and sunset was very special and Quynh is a wonderful instructor. I’m a complete beginner with surfing and actually have a fear of the water. I was very well looked after and by the end of the week I was more confident and even caught my own waves 😎

The people are all so kind and you will learn how to catch the waves, also when you’re a beginner. The rooms and the hotel are very clean and the food is very good, home made by their own chef.

This was my favorite part about my Morocco trip. Everything was great. Yvone is so nice and helpful with everything. And all the surf instructors are great at what they do. Very supportive, encouraging and knowledgeable. Habib is very welcoming and personable. You feel right at home from the start. The food was AMAZING! And it is really nice how we all ate together. Great terrec for hang outs and music jam sessions and playing games. You really are having a great time your whole stay. I will most defiantly be returning!

Despite my initial apprehension I decided to take a step out of my comfort zone and book a surfing retreat. After returning from my break I can whole-heartedly recommend Surf Hotel Morocco.

From the very first the staff were warm, welcoming and attentive to my every need. As a vegetarian they made every effort to sate my dietary requirements, in a lovely communal setting I ate wonderfully tailored meals of local cuisine. The gregarious nature in which meal times took place was a true highlight, the mixing of backgrounds and cultures provided me with memories I will always cherish.

The facilities were extremely clean and modern, this only served to enhance what was an extremely comfortable stay. The yoga and surf instructors were incredibly accessible and supportive and seemed to be very knowledgeable in their respective fields.

As if the setting of Surf Hotel Morocco wasn’t beautiful enough, the guests were also treated to excursions away from the location. With boards in tow, we headed out to explore other areas of the azure coastline. Sensational sand dunes, magnificent Marrakesh and the discovery of a tranquil, serene, hidden gem of an oasis. These trips deeply enriched my stay and I am sure my fellow guests would agree.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Surf Hotel Morocco to people of any surfing level. In combination with the exquisite setting, the friendly staff made me feel at home right away and I would seriously consider repeating my adventure.

I really have to say I booked this one day before my arrival and I am very glad I did. Even before booking, the communication through the website was very good and fast.

Over there, I was picked up from the airport in the middle of the night without any hastle. The hotel was very nice and clean. The meals where excellent prepared by a chef. The staff was very friendly and flexible. This was a family owned hotel and I found it more welcoming than a big chain hotel would be.

The yoga instructor was very experienced as well as the surf instructors. The schedule was flexible. In the normal schedule there were no hidden costs and you can change the standard routine with daytrips and other activities, free and payed.

Overall I have only possitive things to say about my experience.
