Ayahuasca Sierra Ancestral

Everything about this Retreat was amazing from my room was so beautiful. The property was even more stunning.. I was welcomed and treated like family. My flight was delayed and they had someone that waited for me it was so sweet.

Jenn and Carlos their children were all very sweet. Maria was an amazing cook an and caretaker as well as Giovani and his brother Angel. The massage the trip to the waterfall the trip to cocao farm we went to the butterfly farm was amazing and we go to the beach and drive.

I miss them as soon as I left. I would definitely recommend this place and I definitely will be back.

This retreat was exactly what I needed. Great experience with the medicine and everyone here is very welcoming to their family.

I am normally not one that engages in reading nor writing reviews, but felt urged to share in this experience. I had the notion of wanting to try ayuashca for over 4 years in the back my mind and life happened that this became the time and place. I came in with no expectations on the experience itself for the resort, nor on the medicine. I believe that is the best way to be open to everything this has to offer. Reflecting objectively after two weeks post experience for me personally, it was everything I was needing in this exact moment of time. Me receiving this at this moment in life is also me ensuring I did the work to put myself in this mental, spiritual and physical environment to experience this in it's totality. A beautiful local colombian family welcomes you to their home and treats you as one of there's. For some this might not mean anything but for others it means everything. I was made to feel that I was not an outsider, I belonged and I am safe to be free and to be myself fully. I would recommend this exact way to experience this for those who are willing to be open with no expectations. You can then nitpick and critique all areas of an experience post departure as you are free to do so.

It felt like a warm, open, and safe space. The setting is beautiful, with animals around and a calming natural environment. It was a smaller group when I went, which created a more intimate feel. The staff were experienced and supportive, and while not all fluent in English, communication was smooth. I appreciated the emphasis on intention-setting and the range of extra activities like sound healing, rapé, a plant bath, and a waterfall tour.

What an amazing experience. Shaman Carlos, Jennifer, his family, and staff were the kindest people you could meet. Carlos is genuinely interested in helping and healing his guests and will sit with you and listen intently and provides deep, insightful thoughts and advise. His ceremonies are amazing and an experience I wish more people could have as it was life changing for me. His finca is beautiful and peaceful and provides a wonderful environment to have the retreat at.

I had amazing time in Sierra Ancestral. I really rested there being surrounded by a family of Jennifer and Carlos and few people who help them. The place is amazing, so close to nature. Food so delicious! And all the activities I had was really interesting like manual work, yoga, sound healing, trip to a cacao plantation, bath with plants. My ayahuasca experience was very calm and relaxing and everyone very caring.

I am writing this feedback with the deepest respect, love, and gratitude for the place, Taita Carlos, and his family. It was my first time sitting with the medicine, and I participated in three ceremonies throughout the week. The program around the ceremonies was generally well-structured and organized. The waterfall tour and the visit to the cacao plantation were beautiful, personally guided, and thoughtfully arranged. These activities were a wonderful way to connect with the natural surroundings and learn more about the plant-based traditions. There was space for questions before the first ceremony, which were addressed with care, and that made me feel more comfortable and prepared for the experience. The announced Rapé ceremony took place before the first ceremony, which I appreciated. It gave me an opportunity to prepare energetically for the work with the medicine. Although the Rapé ceremony was not repeated before the other two ceremonies, I understand that sometimes things change, and I valued the effort to create an open space for learning. In addition, I must mention that I experienced Taita Carlos very differently in the third ceremony. He was fully present and awake, which had a significant impact on my experience. I felt that the space was held much more strongly, and it allowed me to go deeper in my work with the medicine. The presence and work of the Taita are essential in guiding and holding the energetic space, and I felt this fully during the last ceremony.

The family was so Zen. The place was incredible. Will be back.

During my time there I had an amazing experience. I loved the environment and the people there made me feel very comfortable and safe. I would go back there again I already miss this place .

The place and river at the back is nice. The two lovely dogs and the cat. :) and Maria is a good cook, and Giovonni, the Assistant, he was a very nice person, and he conducted the Ra^pe ceremony very adequately!

The whole retreat was just great. The place with a huge garden and the river alone is worth a visit. Carlos, Jennifer and the whole family are incredibly relaxed and lovely and offer a safe space, are very professional and have a great program like sound therapy or yoga classes. Absolutely recommendable!

This was my first time trying ayawaska and deep meditation and the experience was great. Jennifer and Carlos have a good setup in the mountains and their staff/family were very friendly people. The food was natural and healthy. My private room was spacious and had a personal bathroom. The grandma helping did a phenomenal job cooking and helped with everything from laundry to cleaning the interior a few times a day.

The family Atmosphere with so much caring and love for all the participants. The ceremonies were powerful.

Great value for all the events and ceremonies included.

A good variety of experiences.

Beautiful location and gorgeous hikes to waterfalls and coffee tour.

Ayahuasca was challenging but I'm glad I tried it.
