You’ll receive access to 30 hours of online advanced instruction, offered by The Anatomy School. This course is for all movement teachers and students who want to take a deeper dive into understanding how your body functions at a more intimate level.
You’ll journey into the unique structural specialization joint by joint. You will visualize and understand the dysfunctions of each region and appreciate why vulnerabilities can occur. Learn observation skills, the importance of touch, weaving in energetics, exploring cuing, and rehabilitation exercises.
You’ll review the key categories of yoga postures and their alignment, benefits, contraindications, and modifications. Building from a strong foundation, you’ll practice intermediate and advanced poses such as arm balances and inversions. Zuna Yoga will show you how to move beyond the physical to thoroughly explore postures from an energetic perspective, to understand them as key ingredients of a master recipe.
Skillful adjustments and verbal cues help differentiate novices from seasoned teachers and help strengthen trust and connection with your students. You’ll hone your ability to body-read, not just physically but also emotionally, so you can offer individualized and optimal support at the right moment.
You will learn how the tools of asana (postures), pranayama (breathing methods), bandha (energy locks), and meditation are used to create deep meaningful sequences.
A great class is not just bio-mechanically sound but also powerful on an energetic level. You will practice dozens of different sequences, designed by expert teachers to integrate classroom learning. You’ll also create your own sequences using the important tools you get at this training.
Every class you teach is an opportunity to take your students on a journey of self-discovery. Whether that’s through the physical body or inner exploration, Zuna Yoga will give you the tools to take them there.
The breath is much more than just inhale / exhale. It is the primary life force and the true foundation of meaningful yogic practice. The breath has a profound influence on one's nervous system, cognitive abilities, emotional management, and how you interact with the world. You will thoroughly explore its application in postures, pranayama, and meditation.
Frequently, the essential teachings of the sages get lost in translation. Zuna Yoga will help bridge the gap between the often esoteric ancient wisdom of yoga and its relevance for modern living. You’ll examine the essential philosophies and traditions of Hatha, Tantra, and Classical yoga.
There are many dimensions to understanding the prime life force, known to the yogis as prana. Consciously directing its flow through the body and mind is the secret to a transformative yoga practice. Energy is power and Zuna Yoga will show you how to harness it.
Restorative postures and classes are highly accessible to all populations and can be a valuable addition to your teaching skills. You’ll learn restorative postures, creative sequencing, and how to combine breath meditations, kriyas and other tools to deliver yourself and your students into deep healing relaxation.
Yoga Nidra is one of the crown jewels of yoga that can deliver you effectively into the deepest realms of yoga, effortlessly. It is highly effective for stress reduction and for understanding deep states of meditation and consciousness. Zuna Yoga offers a detailed introduction to its benefits and uses in this 300-hour yoga teacher training.
This disciplined practice is a powerful combination of intention and structured breath strategies. Nothing compares to pranayama in terms of developing your transformative power. It can bring rapid transformation of your practice, mindset, and life.
The power of meditation is significant. It’s been clinically proven as a highly effective tool for improving physical, emotional, and mental health. In your 300-hour yoga teacher training, Zuna Yoga will be sharing a variety of different methods for developing your own personal practice and teaching.
Everyone will get the opportunity to teach and refine their yoga language skills and their ability to deliver an inspiring class as they work with the new tools they’ve learned. There will be plenty of practice teaching: one-on-one, in small groups, and in front of the whole class.

A typical day at your 300-hour YTT begins with a morning practice at sunrise, the most powerful time of day to set your intention and experience the power of asana, pranayama, and meditation. After practice, you’ll enjoy a healthy breakfast in silent reflection.
Students break for lunch and rest, then meet again for a lecture or teaching practice. You'll finish the day with a posture workshop, practicum, or class, and a satisfying evening meditation.
There is one full day off per week.
The schedule is subject to venue-specific modifications at the instructors' discretion.
Students are required to complete daily assignments during the course and to submit essays within three months after the course for each of the books listed below, as well as assignments from the training manual.
You’ll need to demonstrate an understanding of course content and offer a personal reflection on the reading. Once all assignments have been completed and reviewed, Zuna Yoga® will issue a certificate of completion. You’ll then be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT500.
This 300-hour yoga teacher training retreat is not only for aspiring teachers but also for curious, passionate yogis who want to strengthen their knowledge and practice.
This Yoga Alliance 300-hour yoga teacher training lets you fulfill the requirements for advanced certification (RYT500). It ensures a seamless continuation of the course material and experience they offer in their 200-hour YTT.
It is not necessary to have completed their “level one – 200-hour certification course” but it is recommended that you have prior experience as a teacher or an acquired depth in self-study similar to what you would find in a high-quality 200-hour hour course.
The Zuna Yoga® 300-hour yoga teacher training is not yoga for acrobats. The promise of yoga is not realized through complicated and rigorous asana. However, the safe and competent performance of basic and intermediate asanas is important.
The 200-hour course is a foundational program, where you’ll learn the essentials of postures, anatomy, yoga philosophy, and teaching. After its completion, you’ll be qualified to register with Yoga Alliance® as an RYT200, giving you a globally recognized accreditation.
The 300-hour yoga teacher training is an advanced program that assumes you already have a strong foundation in postures, maturity, self-discipline, a high degree of curiosity, and a thirst for knowledge.
Zuna Yoga's 200-hour yoga program plus the 300-hour comprises the full 500-hour training experience. You can enroll in a 200-hour and a 300-hour back to back, or you can leave any number of months or years between your training.
Some schools like Zuna Yoga® offer the entire 500-hour program. Many offer only 200 hours. Completing all your training hours with the same school offers consistency and depth.
You can participate in a 300-hour yoga teacher program without having done a 200-hour course if you are an advanced student looking to deepen your practice and are not interested in immediately registering with Yoga Alliance®.
Please note that the 300-hour yoga teacher training is an advanced program, and most students will have already completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course, or have some experience with yoga practice or teaching.
Generally, it is recommended first to complete your 200 YTT and then your 300 YTT. Zuna Yoga's 300-hour meditation teacher training can easily be done before or after any of their other yoga teacher trainings.
