Cosmos Oasis

For the Canggu yoga teacher training, Zuna Yoga is creating a home away from home in the stunning yoga village at Cosmos Oasis and just a 15-minute walk from Echo and Batu Bolong beaches. This urban zen retreat is complete with multiple practices, lecture and lounge spaces, two swimming pools, and complemented by a variety of accommodation options.

Staying at the yoga village allows you to spend your downtime relaxing, napping, swimming, or studying, with no need to commute. You can enjoy the spacious common areas or retreat to your private space when you need to recharge. All venue facilities are available to all guests 24/7.

A minimalistic, cool, Scandinavian-inspired space. Unique varied room types offer more affordable accommodation while ensuring comfort at a high level. There are rooms for every budget: two twin-share rooms with a shared bath for cost-conscious guests, a triple share room, bunk-bed twin share, and a number of private single rooms with mezzanine beds. All rooms with WiFi, aircon, ceiling fans, and daily housekeeping.

Zuna Yoga® class sequencing is grounded in the same principles that animate the natural world — elegance, efficiency, and fluidity. You’ll learn to use a wide variety of yogic tools such as asana, bandha, pranayama, and meditation.

Every class at your 200-hour yoga teacher training is a meaningful journey that supports the continually changing needs and abilities of body, mind, and spirit. By applying the sciences of yoga and Tantra, you will gain a firm understanding of how to approach your practice and teaching. Typical training day

Your 200-hour yoga teacher training begins with a sunrise practice, the most powerful time of day to set your intention and experience the power of asana, pranayama, and meditation. After practice, you’ll enjoy a healthy breakfast in silent reflection.

Students break for lunch and rest, then meet again for afternoon lectures or teaching practice. You’ll have workshops, practicums, or other special events in the afternoon along with a light snack. Your training day is completed with a nicely satisfying meditation. There is one full day off per week.

Students are required to complete daily assignments during the course and to submit essays within three months after the course for each of the books listed below, as well as the training manual. You’ll need to demonstrate understanding of course content and offer a personal reflection on the reading assignments. Once all your assignments have been completed and reviewed, Zuna Yoga® will issue a certificate of completion. You’ll then be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT200.

Are you ready?

The Zuna Yoga® 200 hour yoga teacher training course is for intermediate yogis who are ready to learn what makes yoga work, develop a solid foundation of practice, and are interested in moving beyond just the physical. About half of the students sign up for the course with the explicit intention of becoming a yoga teacher, others just want to learn.

If you have a regular yoga practice, you may be more ready than you think. Zuna Yoga welcomes participants with a solid foundation in the basic and fundamental yoga postures.

The best way to prepare for a 200-hour yoga teacher training retreat is to keep practicing yoga! Develop a regular practice of at least an hour, three times a week. Try different styles and different teachers, at your local studio or online. Practice mindfully and aim for gradual progress to avoid injury.

This 200-hour yoga teacher training is not only for aspiring teachers, but also for curious, passionate yogis who want to strengthen their knowledge, and practice.

This course is for intermediate to advanced yogis who are ready to move beyond the poses into the more transformative elements of yoga. Zuna Yoga strongly recommends applicants have one year of consistent asana practice with minimal limitations. An open mind, and a willingness to go deep and move past established habits.

You should be relatively comfortable practicing intermediate backbends and are working on inversions.

Some experience in meditation is highly recommended.

It is important to engage in this training with a level of maturity, a willingness to learn, discipline, curiosity, and an understanding of the limits of your own body.
