Whether you are already a yoga teacher or simply passionate about this discipline, this 50-hour certified training course at Chalet Zenspace in Grand-Bornand is designed to deepen your practice and develop your skills. Classes will be given in English and French.
The chalet has 3 levels:
On the ground floor, there are 10 small individual bedrooms with 4 shared bathrooms (separate showers and toilets, 2 sink areas). Each yogi has a private room.
The space on the upper floor is entirely dedicated to yoga. Mats and accessories are at your disposal. The shala is also equipped for lectures. By the garden, you will find the common space, the open kitchen, the dining room, and the lounge.
This continuing education is mainly intended for people who regularly practice yoga, circus arts, dance or teach a sporting activity.
Since the training is intensive, suitable physical condition is necessary. The upper limbs are particularly used through pull-ups, as is the abdominal belt to perform inversions and recoveries.
The objectives of this training are to be able to teach basic sequences in order to guide a course intended for all levels, while mastering the implementation of equipment while respecting safety.
Aerial yoga is an innovative practice that connects the worlds of circus, acrobatics and yoga. It combines the benefits of traditional yoga with the feeling of weightlessness and freedom of movement in the air. It is a physical, mental and spiritual experience that allows you to explore new dimensions of your practice.
Vinyasa yoga instructor, owner of Zenspace Yoga, and former professional dancer and circus artist, Sydney brings her rich experience of living and working in France as an artist and yoga instructor to this intensive week in the Alps! In 2018, Sydney opened its professional training center where it trains future teachers. To date, more than 250 trainees have been trained in yoga teaching. Passionate about this art of movement, she wishes to share and transmit her knowledge and skills.
You will enjoy small menus composed by the research staff with fresh and varied, seasonal and local produce. The meals can be tailored to food constraints.
The day begins with a small, light breakfast: fruit, tea or coffee, cookies, dried fruits, granola.
At the end of the morning practice, you will eat a sweet and organic brunch.
Dinner in the evening includes salad or soups depending on the season, a main dish and a dessert.
