UK Weekend Spring Yoga Retreat

Go on a getaway weekend retreat in the New Forest, with wild ponies, forest walks, yoga and meditation, paddle boarding, and sea dips (weather permitting!) as well as a surprise workshop. You will be staying in a lovely country lodge in the New Forest village of Tiptoe, with log burners, a big farmhouse kitchen, and a beautiful, light-filled garden yoga studio overlooking the fields behind. This yoga retreat will connect you back with nature and yourself, with plenty of time to rest and adventure. Everything is optional, so do as much or as little as you like.

During this yoga retreat, you can choose to stay in a shared or private twin room. The characterful, art-filled country lodge is down a quiet lane in the New Forest village of Tiptoe. The light-filled yoga studio in the garden has large windows looking out onto the orchard and the field beyond.

Referring to a pre-war family connection to India, the birthplace of yoga, the bedrooms carry the names of historical Indian locations. Accommodation is a range of twin or double and twin bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets are shared, along with an extra shower in the main house (plus a shower and loo in the yoga studio).


Mornings will bring meditation and dynamic Vinyasa yoga, evenings will include Yin and Yoga Nidra classes. There will be a surprise workshop, forest walks, and plenty of free time for reading, napping, and exploring the nearby woods.

Who is this retreat for?

This yoga retreat is for anyone over the age of 18, who wants to re-wild and relax.

Do I need any experience?

Not at all! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just finding your paddleboarding/yogi legs you are very welcome. Zen with Jen just asks that you can swim 50 meters.

Other activities

The New Forest Lodge is just 5 miles from the sea, so there will be optional sea dips and a paddleboarding adventure (weather permitting!).

Retreat location

The New Forest National park is in Hampshire on the South Coast of England, famous for wild ponies and ancient woodland. This was once the royal hunting ground of William the Conqueror all the way back in 1079 and is full of ancient oak trees, open, heather-covered heaths, and woodland. There are beautiful villages, country pubs, thatched cottages, and great walks. The New Forest ponies roam free, as do cows and donkeys. You'll even see pigs in the Autumn, put out onto the forest to eat all the acorns, an ancient practice known as pannage.

One of the best things about the New Forest is that it goes all the way down to the sea. Where else can you see wild ponies running through the trees while you're standing on the shore? It's a very special place with an ancient, magical history, and Zen with Jen would love for you to come and explore it.

6 delicious vegetarian meals, snacks, and drinks are included. Enjoy wholesome, home-cooked meals around the kitchen table by the Aga together. Breakfast often includes fresh sourdough, homemade conserves, muesli, granola, fresh fruit, and juices. Lunch can include soups, salads, dips, and grazing boards then nourishing veggie and vegan feasts for dinner.

There will be a hot drink station for you to help yourself to throughout, with herbal teas, coffee, fresh mint, lemon, and ginger, and fruit and snacks available. Zen with Jen can cater to dietary requirements if you let them know beforehand.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by train

The best way to reach the venue is either by car or train. The nearest train station is Brockenhurst, which is a 10-minute drive away. Brockenhurst direct from London Waterloo takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. Transfers are provided if you get the recommended train times.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
