“Kriya Meditation and Yoga Retreat Weekend” has been designed by Sheree Grace, RYT200. Sheree has spent the last two decades practicing and facilitating human transformation in the areas of spiritual development and yoga. The regular practice of Kriya yoga and meditation techniques that will be taught can and will transform your life! This workshop is about learning a Kriya practice through real techniques that work to give you a strong foundation that can further spiritual growth.
Guests can recharge in a private or shared room, or enjoy a welcoming space to meditate, study, or socialize with other guests. If you are on a program where sharing is possible and you would like to share a twin-bedded room with another single traveler of the same gender, Zen Den Yoga School will match you with a roommate. Otherwise, a single supplemental fee applies for a private room.

Through the use of Kriya and meditation, learn to quiet down the mind and focus on what is most important; the present moment. During this workshop, you will leave feeling rejuvenated, empowered, and ready to live your life experiencing greater "Ananda" (bliss). Find out how to access your peace, joy, and grace – your real states of being, which can happen organically when you remove what is cluttering the mind and when you allow yourself to dive deep within.
Cold exposure has proven to be a wonderful addition to any healthy lifestyle. Frequent exposure to cold is linked to a number of different health benefits. For example, scientists have found evidence that exposure to cold speeds up metabolism. Another benefit of exposing your body to cold is that it reduces inflammation, swelling, and sore muscles.
Therefore, many athletes use ice baths and other types of exposure to cold as a means to speed up recovery after physical exercise. Furthermore, cold body therapy is also linked to improved quality of sleep, more focus, and even improved immune response. Many report health benefits that range from higher energy levels to relief of symptoms caused by autoimmune diseases.
Zen Den Yoga School has found that when practicing breathwork in conjunction with sitting in an ice bath for a specific amount of time, there is a sense of ease and grace that can be reached. Anything that can be done to quiet the mind, focus on the breath, and calm the nervous system brings optimal health.
This is an experience really for everybody, regardless of your age, gender, profession, religion, or belief system; all levels are welcome.
Sheree is a registered 200-hour yoga teacher certified with Yoga Alliance. She has discovered through her own practice the power of integrating several healing techniques to maximize one’s results. Her approach to teaching is integrative and holistic. This practice may include meditation, breathwork, mantra, cold exposure, and traditional yoga poses. When teaching yoga, it is her intention to weave Kriya throughout the entire practice, cultivating an experience of transformation. Kriyas can be seated, standing, or moving, this practice ranges from fierce and powerful to soft and graceful.
Zen Den Yoga School and Retreats offer you a great experience to relax with plenty of beautiful scenery and activities to explore nearby. You will have access to Wi-Fi, and a state of the art kitchen with Vita Mix and Juicer during your retreat. Bicycles will be provided so guests can explore nearby attractions. During your stay in Boca, the beach city is surrounded by tropical scenery and beautiful homes.

You will receive all your personalized ingredients for learning to make your breakfast and lunch energizing nutritionally balanced smoothies with the Certified Health Coach. Zen Den Yoga School has a special alkaline water filter to aid in your body staying alkalized, as well as extra hydrogen into the water for added anti-oxidants in addition to the signature green smoothie in the morning; rich in micronutrients, gluten free and vegan.
The afternoon smoothie is rich in macronutrients, also vegan and gluten-free, chock full of protein, plant nutrition ,and superfoods.
For dinners, you are on your own. There is a state of the art kitchen that some guests cook in. There are grocery stores within walking distance, and there are also plenty of multi-cultural cuisine restaurants to choose from within walking and biking distance from the retreat house, “a foodie approved favorite restaurant list.”

The best airports are West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale airports, both are equidistant, about 30 minutes from the school. Check-in times are between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and check out on departure day is 11 a.m. (if your flight is later in the day, you are able to keep your luggage on-premises and partake in activities).
