For some, joining a silent retreat offers a rare opportunity to seek solace and tranquillity, while others embark on this journey in pursuit of personal growth and transformation.

During a silent retreat, you will find the invaluable gift of time and space to delve deep within yourself, contemplating your life's path and envisioning a future brimming with contentment. This retreat is designed to promote clarity and well-being in body, mind, and spirit and help you achieve a feeling of peace of mind with a focus on finding a state of stillness and silence within.

Your day will start at 7 a.m. and finish around 9 p.m. All accommodation, vegetarian meals, and teachings are included in the retreat price.

The Zen Centre’s silent retreat program is led by qualified and experienced program leaders, both of Australian Nationality. The yoga and yoga meditation program is led by Rosalie Allan, a qualified yoga teacher trained to International Yoga Alliance standards with meditation certification. All Zen knowledge is imparted from the resident ordained Zen Master, Fushin Daijo Yin Chao.

All the programs are designed to be of as much benefit to the individual student as possible. For this reason, Zen Buddhist and Yoga Retreat keeps the participant numbers to only six per program. Guest arrival is on Friday, anytime after 2 p.m.
