You will be accommodated in Zen Buddhist and Yoga Retreat, a panoramic and secluded retreat center overlooking the Conondale Valley and the mountains beyond. The temperate climate there allows beautiful gardens to flourish, bringing in prolific birdlife and fauna. All linen is provided, along with a towel and soap is available.

Rooms

  • Kintamani has a double bed with a single bed on top (bunk style with plenty of headroom)
  • Uluwatu room has a double bed
  • Ubud room has two single beds
  • Garden rooms have a single bed and the cabin has a double bed
  • King single ensuite room has one king bed

Drawing insights from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, Rose's philosophical talks will center around the eight limbs of yoga, while Hatha yoga serves as the perfect tool to prepare your mind and body for the profound journey of meditation. Join them as you explore the art of meditation layering, discovering new ways to enhance your meditation experience. Through the transformative movements of yoga and Tai Chi, they guide your focus inward, laying the foundation for a profound meditation experience.

Retreat location

This program will take place in Sunshine Coast which is in South East Queensland of North-eastern Australia. This retreat will take place in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, near Maleny and Montville, in Australia. The Hinterland has many beautiful drives, walks, parks, and waterfalls. It is a very popular bed and breakfast location for the Brisbane market. The famous Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo is nearby. The area is very beautiful, a lovely way to start any international holiday commencing in Brisbane. There is one acre of gardens where birds, wallabies, and koalas live.

Food

All meals are vegetarian, however, vegan and gluten-free can be catered for when notice has been given. Gluten-free guests are required to bring along their preferred bread products. Gluten-free cereal in the morning is provided. They serve soya milk for vegans and dairy-free guests. Not all supplied condiments will have substitutes for your particular dietary request. If you have a food intolerance, please discuss this with Zen Buddhist & Yoga Retreat, they may be able to work together depending on your allergies. Please ensure you advise them of your dietary requirements at least seven days before your arrival, with thanks.

Zen Buddhist and Yoga Retreat can pick up guests for a small fee of 10 AUD from Landsborough train station.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
