Restful time to help awaken to your inner self whilst breathing the fresh air and resting in the cradle of Mull's presence. Early morning practice followed by light breakfast, mindful peaceful talk and drifting into mid morning practice with gentle quiet time over brunch. The remainder of the day to explore the beautiful Island, returning to the venue for a mid evening practice before retiring for the night.

You will be accommodated in Fuaran, nestled in a quiet secluded part of Tobermory but still only a five-to-10 minute's walk to the beautiful colorful harbor. Guest accommodation has a private entrance. All bedrooms are ensuite and adjacent to the Meditation Room. Bedrooms can be booked as double, twin and single occupancy. Rooms are booked on a first come first served basis, so booking early may secure you a larger room depending on availability.

Program

You will practice yoga Nidra meditation informed by the teachings of Richard Miller and the Integrative Restoration Institute - iRest. This adaptation of yoga Nidra is appropriate for people with or without a yoga background.

With two morning classes giving you each afternoon and early evening for otter spotting and deer watching, this is a haven for wildlife lovers. Visit castles, inns, local shops, and neighbouring islands. Slip on your hiking boots and explore Mulls amazing scenic walks or kick off your shoes, rest your weary feet, and feel the sand between your toes and the waves softly rolling over your feet on the most beautiful beaches. Sail out to the seas of the Hebrides, marvel at the sites of seals, whales, and birdlife.

Return mid evening for practice before settling down for the night. Suitable for all, whether you have any experience of meditation or yoga or not. All are welcome! The small group means that all needs can be catered for. Give yourself time you deserve!

The Isle of Mull is a little far-flung and may lie slightly off the beaten track, but it is surprisingly easy to get to. Whatever mode of transport you choose, your journey to the Inner Hebridean island of Mull promises to be a stunning experience. Situated in a quiet secluded location on the hillside of Tobermory, overlooking the rooftops with views over to Spienne Mor and still only five to 10 minutes' walk from the colorful bustling Harbour.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Driving directions from Glasgow

  • Take the M8 and follow the signs for Crianlarich and the A82
  • At Tyndrum, home of the famous Green Welly Stop, turn onto the A85, which terminates in Oban
  • The directions to the ferry terminal are well signposted on arriving in Oban
  • Once on Mull, it is 21 miles North from Craignure to Tobermory.

Arrival by bus

Coaches run frequently to Oban from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station. For further details go to Citylink website. Traveline Scotland is a very useful website where you can plan your journey on different forms of public transport.

Arrival by ferry / boat

Caledonian MacBrayne operate three ferry routes to Mull: Oban to Craignure, Lochaline to Fishnish and Kilchoan on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula to Tobermory. The most popular crossing, travelling from the South, is the 45-minute ferry ride from Oban to Craignure. This must be booked in advance if bringing your car to the island. If travelling from Fort William or Inverness, the Lochaline to Fishnish route is the more convenient and only takes 15 minutes. Arrival by train
