Sometimes you need more than a yoga class. Yoga therapy is specific, effective and professional in the way in which it addresses your physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing; it can help you find the natural resources inside yourself for healing to take place. The yoga therapy course combines ancient yogic wisdom and modern day body-mind techniques of healing and psychology.
The venue is at the Yogashala, a cottage style property with gardens and stunning views over the valley to the Tejada mountain range. Accommodation is in single or shared rooms, with shared kitchen, bathroom and sitting room.
Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students will receive certificate affiliated with Yoga Alliance International. Registration with Yoga Alliance International provides a globally recognized credential.
The course will cover many aspects of yoga therapy, how to apply this knowledge in the classroom or with individual clients, and to give an all round understanding of the several methods such as pranayama, meditation, mantra chanting, asanas, change of thinking patterns, and relaxation that will enable clients to gain the benefits of yoga therapy.
