This yoga teacher training is for students as well as for teachers who have completed their 200-hour yoga teacher training from Yogvit Yogshala or any another certified RYS 200. Deepen your understanding of primary asanas as well as learn to teach advance asanas. Expand your knowledge, nurture your soul, and deepen your connection to the yoga tradition with Yogvit Yogshala.
During the course, you will be staying in a shared wooden cottages in Arambol Beach, Goa, India.
The segment of this yoga teacher training emphasizes on analytical training to teach and practice multi style of asana training practice of Hatha and Ashtanga, pranayama, meditation, Kriyas, and chanting. Every student will be guided to the advance asana techniques which will also allow them to practice themselves.
In asana, the focus will be on alignment and a correct way to perform each technique. Initial first week will be continuation and gradually built awareness and strength and also develop advance flow. Different meditation technique will be taught and you will be experiencing its effects on mind like om chanting, heart meditation, yoga Nidra, mind meditation, and energy meditation.
In this segment, you will study history of yoga in more detail including teaching of yoga Sutras, Hatha yoga Pradipika, and Bhagvad Gita. In lifestyle and ethics, you will be exploring the eight fold paths of yoga, teaching values Dharma and Karma yoga, and learning about panch koshas. This segment of learning involves deep spiritual and practical aspects of the course.
Teaching methodology segment emphasizes on alignment for the advance asana and its sequence including principle of demonstrating advance asana in the class and its effectiveness. Explore different aspects of teaching, communication skills, time management, and designing class according to age, group, and any special needs. In business aspects of yoga, you will be taught how to use individual professional and marketing skills.
This segment of teaching includes the study of physical anatomy of a human body such as skeletal, muscular, respiratory, digestive, nervous system, and organs. This segment also includes study of pranic body (subtle energy) chakras, nadis, and bandhas.
Practicum involves a well-structured sequence teaching in a group with clear instructions, movements, and breath understandings. With open heart, everyone will learn to give and receive feedback.
Vipul has a very holistic approach to balance the body and mind by synchronizing the breath. He guides you through a conscious, mindful practice with focus on breath, and holding each pose to create balance, harmony, and clarity in life to get deeper knowledge of asana and meditation technique.
This yoga teacher training will be held in Arambol Beach, a traditional fisherman village in Goa, India. It is the most northerly of Goa’s developed beach resorts and is still considered the beach of choice for many budget-minded travellers in the north. It is surrounded by tall handsome coconut trees and lush green nature.
You will be served daily healthy vegetarian breakfast and lunch. All students are requested to avoid non-vegetarian meals outside of the course.
During your free time, you can enjoy any treatments such as Ayurvedic yoga massage, Swedish massage, or deep tissue massage at an additional cost.
Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (GOI). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request. This journey will take approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
Take a bus from Mumbai, Bangalore, Hampi, Pune, or other destinations directly to Panaji or Mapusa. There are buses available frequently from Panjim or Mapusa to Arambol every 30 minutes. This journey will take approximately one hour.
Take a train to Thivim railway station. Transfer from and to this station is available upon request. This journey will take approximately one hour.
