Via Vipassana meditation and Aikido, Alex came to Iyengar yoga in 2002. After completing his training as a certified yoga teacher in the tradition of BKS Iyengar, he went to India in 2008 where he deepened his knowledge of Iyengar yoga and started teaching in his studio in Goa regular classes, workshops, and retreats. In the spring and summer, he is traveling around Europe teaching workshops and retreats. Alex uses knowledge of Iyengar yoga, biomechanics, and yoga therapy, which allows him to easily teach students of various levels, body types, and with different health problems.
Anne was trained in Chiang Mai, Thailand, by Thai massage masters such as Ajarn Sinchai, Lek Chayia, Pi Jem, and Pijat. She has been giving Thai massages for more than 10 years and teaching it since 2010. She’s also trained as a yoga and a Shiatsu therapist.
Sarah-Jane started yoga in 1997 during a trip to Thailand. Through studying many different styles, she has come to appreciate the precision, integrity, authenticity and serious disciplined approach of the Iyengar system of Yoga. She completed the three-year Iyengar teacher training program in the Netherlands in 2007. Through further training, she received her Intermediate Junior 3 certificate in 2017. She also completed a three-year therapeutic course to better help and guide people with injuries, illness, or physical limitations. She has over 10 years of experience teaching.
