Throughout the retreat, you will exclusively stay in very beautiful oriental hotels with pool and gardens. In the Sahara, you will stay in a Bivouac camp from brick-rammed earth cottages with waterproof roofs made of dromedary wool. You will sleep on comfortable wooden beds with mattresses, sheets, and blankets. Toilets and showers are available.

During days two to seven, there will be daily yoga practice, meditation, and breathing exercises in the morning and evening.

Day 1, Taroudant

The journey begins in Taroudant (Little Marrakesh), which is 40 minutes from the Agadir Airport (AGA). It is a very authentic place surrounded by citrus trees and banana plantations, far away from mass tourism, where you can get to know the country and the people. You will be staying in a very beautiful oriental hotel with a pool. Once everyone arrives, everyone will have the chance to get to know each other, then dinner at the hotel.

Day 2, Taroudant - Zagora

Ride across the Anti-Atlas Mountains covered with argan trees. You will have a coffee break in the small mountain village of Talouine, where saffron is produced and sold. Further over the mountains to Tazenakht, a small off-road meeting place and the center of production for traditional Berber carpets, which are very colorful sheep wool carpets dyed with natural colors, Glaui. Further through, impressive palm oases over mountain crests to Zagora. There you will spend a night in a gorgeous hotel with a pool surrounded by a palm forest.

Day 3, Zagora - sand dunes of Erg Chegaga

The first stage is over two mountain crests, then the desert feeling starts. First, you will drive with the jeeps on dirt roads through the stone desert where you can observe numerous mirages. Afterward, you will dive into the sand dunes of the Sahara, where you will meet the team of nomads at lunchtime. After lunch, you will mount a camel and ride deeper into the desert, and spend the first night in a tent camp in the dunes.

Day 4, Sahara

In the morning, after breakfast and the yoga class, you will hike through the dromedaries further into the desert, accompanied by the leaders. At noon, a traditional dish of the Sahara nomads is cooked for you. In the evening, you will head back to the Bivouac camp. When mantra singing at the campfire together with the locals, you will enjoy the incredibly beautiful sky full of stars and the healing silence of the desert.

Day 5, Sahara

After a wonderful breakfast, you will walk beside or ride on the dromedary through the dunes. They say the desert purifies the soul and is actually a very touching place. Here you will learn from the nomads how to bake bread in the sand. In the evening, you will return to the romantic camp in the desert. On request, there will be a drum workshop with the nomads.

Day 6, Sahara - Agdez

After the yoga practice and breakfast, the group will be heading back and out of the desert dirt and sand tracks. You will enjoy lunch at the hotel. You will also spend the night again in the idyllic hotel in the oasis village.

Day 7, Agdez - Taroudant

You will be driving back to Taroudant. Here you will have some free time in the afternoon to walk through the city, to go shopping at the bazaar, or to simply relax by the pool.

Day 8, Departure

You will have breakfast at the hotel before heading back to your home. You will need an independent transfer going to the airport.
