Do you need recreation, inspiration, and energy? In this yoga journey, you will dive into the colorful magic of Marrakesh while enjoying its wonderful climate. There will be lasting sightseeing impressions, magical oriental accommodation, and plenty of time to relax to make this trip a special experience. To help enhance your experience, there will be yoga classes aimed at both beginners and experienced yogis where the yoga teacher will adapt according to your needs.
Throughout the retreat, you will exclusively stay in a very beautiful oriental hotel with a pool and gardens.
At sunrise and at sunset, everyone will meet for yoga practice, effective breathing exercises, and relaxing meditations. There will be five yoga sessions in total. The evening on arrival and the morning before departure are at your disposal. However, you will continue the tour every day after breakfast to the next place, visiting different attractions. If the group arrives early enough, there will be time to relax by the pool or to visit the surroundings of the city.
Marrakech, "the Pearl of the South," is located in a plain north of the High Atlas. Its old town was established in 1985 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
For those who arrive at noon in Marrakech, it is possible to have lunch together with the tour guides in the old town and to gain an overview on the central square and spend time in the bazaar.
The main attraction is the Djemna el Fna, a colorful bustle with storytellers, snake charmers, and jugglers. On the famous souks, artisans of all kinds, spices, leather goods, linen, decorations, lamps, jewelry, carpets, and more are found.
When everyone arrives, there will be some time to get to know each other and relax. This will be followed by dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast, together with your guide, the group will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, then walk through the old town and visit the Bahia Palace. Next, you will walk through the narrow streets of the medina to the Saadian tombs. Lunch will be at the central square. In the afternoon, there will be time for shopping at the bazaar or relaxing at the hotel.
In the morning, you will visit the pavilion in the Menara Gardens. Afterwards, the group will take a taxi to the Majorelle Garden of Yves Saint Laurent. Lunch will be in Gueliz, which is new town. In the afternoon, there will again be time to relax or you can visit other sights together with the tour guides.
After breakfast and the last yoga class, the group will bid goodbye to each other. There will be free time until you go off to the airport.
In this retreat, you will be able to visit many sites around Morocco such as Djemna el Fna, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian tombs, Menara Gardens, Majorelle Gardens of Yves Saint Laurent, and Gueliz (new town).

This retreat will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco. Marrakech has stood for close to a thousand years, a city of history and culture. One of the most evocative places in the world, just the name conjures up images of this cultural melting pot - sandstone buildings, dusty streets, vibrant markets, and towering minarets against deep blue skies immediately spring to mind.
For the retreat, breakfast is included daily and will be served in the respective hotel. You will have lunch in very nice traditional restaurants while on the road. The food in Morocco is very varied and good. There is a strong French influence, remaining from the colonial era. Fresh fruits and vegetables of local farms are available in the local markets.
The traditional dish is tajine, a dish cooked in a clay pot over the fire, vegetarian if desired, with lamb, chicken, fish or beef, mixed with vegetables, dried fruits, pickled lemons and olives and wonderful spices. Patisserie with almonds, lemons, dates, and dessert. The national drink is the "thé à la menthe," a green tea with mint leaves and fresh sugar.
An additional 60 EUR is needed if you want to avail of the half-board option. Please also let Yogitrip know in advance if you are vegetarian or vegan or suffer from food intolerances.
You will have time to relax by the pool or to visit the city surroundings.
Please book a flight to Marrakesh Airport (RAQ). Transfer to and from the airport to Makkaresh is included in the price.
