A journey into the heart of Valle d’Itria to discover their origins and traditions in this lush patch of land between the countryside of Locorotondo and Martina Franca.
As you sip, you will learn about the history of the estate, understand how a native wine is born, and admire the winery itself, an example of meticulous environmental respect set in the enchanting frame of Valle d’Itria.
The route of the visit unwinds between the inside and outside of the cellar. Starting with the presentations of the family members, in the shade of the majestic Virgilian oak, the visit continues with a walk along the evocative native vineyards of Minutolo, Bianco d'Alessano, Verdeca, Primitivo, and Susumaniello, the soul of their wines.
The tour goes on with the visit of the brand-new cellar where the various phases of the wine-making process are explained. The experience ends with the tasting of a selection of their wines served with taralli, typical friselline topped with evo oil, tomato and basil, olives, and dried broad beans. The wines may vary depending on the season and availability.
