Teodorhas been practicing yoga from the age of 16. He learned the ancient yoga techniques – such as Asana, Pranayama and Meditation – from his father. Teodor’s life has been fundamentally influenced by the teachings of yoga. His yogic path carried him through the various yoga schools in the U.S. and India. For over ten years he is now teaching yoga, putting great emphasis not only on the anatomically correct performance of the yoga asanas, but also on the Ujjayi breathing technique and on classical yoga philosophy.
Tony grew up in Eastern Europe having a deep interest in spiritual teachings. In 1990 Tony moved to New York where he was able to practice various styles of yoga for the next 10 years. He went on to further his studies in India with A.G. Mohan who was a private student for 18 years with Sri T.Krishnamacharya. Tony teaches a unique blend of yoga techniques adapted for the individual needs. He believes that yoga is a process leading to personal integration in all aspects of life.
At the age of 21, Barbara suffered a devastating stroke that paralyzed her right side and caused her to lose speech completely. Though her recovery took many years, Barbara’s discovery of Yoga became the guide for her transformation. She began to rebuild herself in all the abilities that she had lost. Barbara began her professional training by receiving two master degrees as a rehabilitation specialist. She visited India many times, where she researched unique techniques of healing yoga with T.K.V. Desikachar and A.G. Mohan.
