How the training works

Required tools: Zoom. This training takes place online so you can study from your home. You will need Zoom to gain access to live training. Yogi Hari’s Ashram is based in Miramar, Florida (Eastern Daylight Time, GMT-4).

Daily schedule (GMT-4)

The daily schedule will be live-streamed. You will follow this schedule every day for 14 days more or less.

  • 06:00 - 08:00 Satsang
  • 08:00 - 10:00 Yoga class
  • Break for breakfast, karma yoga, and study time
  • 14:00 - 16:00 Workshop
  • 16:00 - 18:00 Practice teaching
  • 18:00 - 19:30 Break for dinner
  • 19:30 - 21:30 Satsang

Course information

Sampoorna yoga (yoga of fullness) is the fruit of Yogi Haris tireless striving for perfection in his practice and teaching. It is the yoga of fullness that intelligently integrates Hatha, Raja, Karma, Bhakti, Jnana, and Nada yoga to purify and harmonize all aspects of the human personality so that the light of the soul shines forth in its Divine splendor.

His approach is deep, simple, and practical, and helps people from every background to live a richer, happier life based on lasting yogic values. The basic teaching is that health, peace, and joy are already within you. They are your birthright.

Sampoorna Yoga can help you to uncover them. Sampoorna Yoga is the step by step process whereby the individual comes to know his true nature as divine, or, as Paramguru Swami Sivananda says, the radiant immortal self.

Sampoorna Yoga, developed by Yogi Hari in his many years of practicing and teaching yoga, has been inspired by the teachings of Swami Sivananda and his disciples, Swami Vishnu-Devananda and Swami Nada-Brahmananda. This priceless gem of Sampoorna yoga has evolved through the harmonious and intelligent integration of Hatha, Raja, Bhakti, Jnana, Karma, and Nada Yoga to mold a harmonious and balanced personality. It is now offered to earnest students of self-discovery.

Syllabus

  • Anatomy and physiology in relation to Hatha yoga.
  • Asanas (yoga postures): Practice and teaching techniques.
  • Astral body, nadis, and chakras.
  • Ayurveda: Basic introduction to this ancient healing art.
  • Bhakti yoga: The path of devotion and love for God, including the practices of chanting, worship, and self-surrender.
  • Bhagavad Gita: Study and its application to life.
  • Jnana yoga: Self knowledge, inquiry into the question Who am I?
  • Karma and reincarnation.
  • Karma Yoga: The path of action and selfless service (1-hour practice each day involving preparing dinner vegetables, cleaning the ashram, gardening, and other projects.)
  • Meditation, mantra and Japa yoga: Use of divine sound vibration for healing on all levels.
  • Nada yoga: Study and application of sound vibration as a tool for healing and uplifting the emotions and the mind. Involves mantra chanting.
  • Pranayama and breathing exercises: Mastery of prana or vital energy.
  • Raja yoga: The study and control of the mind.
  • Vedanta philosophy: Study of the universe, self and truth.

Upon graduating, you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge, experience, and confidence to teach yoga to anyone regardless of age or condition. You will get a sound foundation in all aspects of yoga. You will also experience tremendous transformation in your life and practice from the teachings and presence of a master.
