The resort offers comfortable deluxe room and villas. Each of the accommodations features earth tones and eco-friendly materials that complement the astonishing red rock mountains surrounding the resort, and all rooms are non-smoking.

Amy signed up for a meditation retreat in 1986 after learning that the Beatles had been touting its benefits a generation earlier. In 1994, she found herself on a meditation retreat in Nepal, where she discovered and fell for yoga. She is an active volunteer with Yoga for Recovery, bringing yoga to female inmates and prenatal yoga to expectant inmates at Cook County Jail. She completed both level I and II teacher training at Yogaview in Chicago, where she currently teaches and practices.

Stacy is a certified yoga instructor and wellness coach based in Chicago. She has been a dedicated student of yoga and meditation since 2001 and working in the wellness field for over a decade. Stacy completed both her 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training at Yogaview. Additionally, she is a contributor to wellness blogs and brand ambassador for Lululemon Athletica. Stacy's passion for yoga comes from the profound transformation and self-awareness that the practice has offered her. You can start your day with a healthy hike. Below is information to help you choose which hike is the best-suited for you. These hikes are available for 95 USD per person.
These are moderately aerobic mid-level hikes with short breaks for photo opportunities. You will encounter a variety of trails designed to push mid-level hikers. The trails include slick rock, washes, and some rocky, uneven terrains. Previous hiking experience recommended. Distances vary between three and a half to five and a half miles. The maximum elevation gain is 765 feet.
These hikes are intense and fast paced with occasional breaks. Endurance hikers must have the confidence to move quickly over uneven terrain in an unfamiliar landscape, navigate wilderness trails, steep slick rock, desert washes, and uneven rocky terrain. Please check with the outdoor recreation staff before undertaking this hike. The distance varies between five to eight miles with an elevation change up to 1500 feet.
These hikes are excellent for beginners. You will have the time to admire the scenery with stops for photos and guide interpretations. The terrain is manageable because of pace with some paved walking paths as well as unpaved trails with red rock, sand, and lava rock. Distances vary between two and a half to four miles with an average elevation change of 350 feet.
The stress hike will teach you to better understand the mind and body connection in relation to everyday stressors and the fight-or-flight response. The pound puppy hike is perfect for anyone who misses their four-legged best friend. After greeting the dogs at the Ivins "No Kill" animal shelter, you enjoy a one and a half mile hike with them at the base of Red Mountain.
Take a bike on the leisurely, gradual uphill six-mile bike ride to the Kayenta Desert community on the Kayenta Coffee Cruise. Enjoy seasonal guided evening walks on the inspiration trail where you can enjoy the camaraderie of other guests. This activity is dog-friendly. For early risers, there is a seasonal sunrise explorer and sunrise challenge hike, to see the morning sun light coming up the desert. Flora and fauna fans will enjoy the Red Hills Desert garden walks.

This ride takes advantage of the peaceful evenings in Snow Canyon State Park. As you leave the resort, you will gradually ascend a paved trail. When you get to the gravel road, the uphill work-out is more vigorous, so your pace slows, and you will hear nature's sounds echoing from the Navajo Sandstone. The payoff is the fast and exciting descent back to Red Mountain Resort. Available for 95 USD this two and a half hours activity is available seasonally.
Join a Red Mountain guide for this introduction to the wonderful world of road biking. Leaving from the resort and using a combination of paved trail and roads your guides will take you on this two-hour ride. They will offer tips on how to make a road bike work, rules of the road, and bicycling etiquette. If you ever wanted to try road biking, look no further, this event offers an excellent opportunity to learn in a guided environment. This is available for 95 USD per person and lasts for about two hours.
Hike, climb, and zip line. Start with a moderately strenuous two and a half mile hike to take in panoramic views of Red Mountain to Zion National Park. Next, pass through a narrow slot canyon and meet the challenge of top roped climbs for your next escape. Take a 500-foot zip line to the next stop, where you can do a little climbing if you wish.
