Come and join Yogascapes for a unique Marrakech yoga retreat experience. The exotic flavors, colors, and smells of Morocco are calling your name. Join Rebecca on this sensory adventure just outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakech at the unique artist and wellness escape, Fellah Hotel. With local artists in residence, a working farm, a Thai massage school, and a vibrant art and music scene, this Marrakech yoga retreat is sure to be a magical experience.
Fellah Hotel straddles exciting cultural exploration and quiet country escape. Authentic, luxurious, and cool, Fellah is a vibrant hotel with impeccable services, noteworthy dining, and sumptuous amenities teamed up with yoga classes, a tree house, and a small working farm where guests can actually gather eggs and milk and groom a donkey or a goat.
So much more than just an average hotel spa, the Wat Po Thai School of Traditional Massage (the oldest form of Thai massage) has found its home in Fellah placing Tai Chi and yoga classes at your fingertips too.
For this retreat, you will be accommodated in a deluxe room. The room provides Fellah’s signature style of clean simple lines combined with splashes of authentic, bold Moroccan color and Zellige tile work. Each deluxe room features a king size bed, walk-in closets, the highest quality Egyptian or satin linens, and a variety of natural personal care products from Fellah’s cosmetic partner, Naturom.
You can choose to be accommodated in a shared room for couples or two friends traveling together or in a single occupancy room that is available at an added cost.
Daily yoga classes with your guide, Rebecca Jo, will ground, deepen, and enrich both your adventure in Morocco and your journey into the beautiful world of yoga. There will be one or two yoga classes in a day. A complimentary cooking class is also included in the program.
Please note that this yoga retreat is suitable for both the advanced practitioner and the new yoga student. It's not just for the yogi who practices every day and can touch the floor with their elbows. Yogascapes offers opportunities for growth and new experience, no matter how much time you have spent on your mat. Regardless, it is suggested that you keep an open mind and try out practices that might be new to you.
During this retreat, you will take a group trip into Marrakech to visit a market and explore the Medina and Djemaa el-Fna as well as a few other important sites. You will also have excursions to the Ourika Valley, Setti Fatma, and take a hike into the Atlas Mountains to enjoy the fresh air and enjoy majestic views.
Perched just outside Marrakech with the Atlas Mountains in the background, Fellah Hotel will be your hub of diving deep into Moroccan culture, your yoga practice, delicious food, your friendly community, and rest and relaxation. Yogascapes seeks out venues that integrate with the land and the culture, rather than separate from it and Fellah Hotel reflects this philosophy in spades.

Healthy vegetarian food and traditional Moroccan plates created with produce from the garden will be part of your retreat experience. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided at the hotel and mealtimes will be one of your favorite parts of each day, where lifelong friendships are forged. Please note that on days that you go into Marrakech or on an excursion, lunch is not included.
Wholeness is wellness and Fellah offers a variety of specialized rejuvenating treatments, services, and healing retreats at additional costs.
Fellah’s cleansing steam baths and massage treatments provide a quiet and contemplative retreat with soothing fragrances, soft music, and pampering. Sweat away your worries and have your muscles reinvigorated by a professional oil massage therapist, the traditional hammam way.
Taking its name from Thailand’s first university and the Indian monastery in which Buddha is said to have lived, Wat Po is also the name of Thailand’s oldest form of traditional massage.
The resident qualified Wat Po massage staff have all been trained in this approach and Wat Po is open to hotel guests and the general public for a wide range of treatments including Thai herbal oil or steam therapies, aromatherapies, and full body and head massages.
Please book your flight to arrive at Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Yogascapes will pick you up from the airport.
