Yoganandham in India runs classes with holistic, integrating with all aspect of yoga: asana, pranayama, meditation, yogic philosophy, sadhana, and Vedic chanting. Yoga classes take place twice daily except on Sundays and are open to the public as well as ashram residents.
There are three yoga halls that allow sadhaks and guests to practice during scheduled special events. One is on the ground level, second is on the third floor, and third is on the roof. All the yoga halls are clean, authentic, and natural space for yoga practice. Each hall is supplied with pillows, bricks, bolsters, and yoga mats.
The course mainly includes daily yoga asana classes to increase your blood circulation and flexibility so to release tension and relax the guest physically. The guest will be guided through a very basic level of yoga pranayama practice to increase the oxygen level in body which will help them to relax mentally. The shatkarmas consist of six group of purification practices. The aim of Hatha yoga of the shatkarmas is to create harmony between the two major pranic flows, ida and pingala, thereby, attaining physical and mental purification and balance.
Yoga poses also purify and help to heal the body, as well as control, calm, and focus the mind. Yoga asanas will be practiced daily two times a day. Hatha yoga and Ashtanga yoga is practiced during the yoga classes.

Please book your railway tickets to arrive at Haridwar Junction railway station. Haridwar is directly connected by rail to all main cities in India. When you reach Haridwar, buy a prepaid taxi from the stand at the entrance to the station. This will save you the trouble of negotiating a price with the driver.
The bus station is situated across the street, where there is regular service to Rishikesh bus stand which is five kilometers away from Yoganandham Ashram. You are advised to book rail tickets as soon as possible. Trains are usually fully booked near the time of travel.
