This retreat will explore the concept of yoga and its ways to relax at theoretical and practical levels. This is designed to assist students of yoga to understand and experience the deeper layers of their personality. Yoga retreat courses are perfect for people new to yoga and want to understand to relax themselves mentally and physically. You will experience the Yogic life as daily Yoga, Shatkarma and Meditation Sessions happens in Yoga Ashram so you will be able to experience the life of a Yogi.
During the course, you will be staying at Yoganandham (A School for Yoga Learning). The school has a yoga studio, a dining area, a reception, and a wonderful garden surrounded by mountains. Yoganandham Yoga School offers single and double rooms based on the student’s requirements.
Every room has an attached bathroom with a western toilet and hot shower and a cozy seating area provides picturesque views. The rooms for the yogis are well-maintained and clean. They offer bed sheets, pillows, bath towels, toilet paper, a blanket, and toiletries. High-speed Wi-Fi is activated in all property which will keep you connected.

The course mainly includes daily yoga asana classes to increase your blood circulation and flexibility so as to release tension and relax the guest physically. The retreat also includes outings to nearby locations so the guest can feel free and enjoy the time completely.
Apart from the yoga asana, pranayama - the understanding and regulating of your breath, and meditation, you will also learn the basic concept of yoga and the lifestyle. It will teach you to integrate your body, mind, and soul for complete living.
The shatkarmas consist of six groups of purification practices. The aim of Hatha yoga of the shatkarmas is to create harmony between the two major pranic flows, ida and pingala, thereby, attaining physical and mental purification and balance.
Yoga poses also purify and help to heal the body, as well as control, calm, and focus the mind. Yoga asanas will be practiced daily two times a day. Hatha yoga and Ashtanga yoga are practiced during the yoga classes.

The food provided is hygienic and well-prepared yogic food. The pure vegan meals are served according to the principles of Ayurveda and you are expected to be fully devoted and obey all the guidelines and disciplines of the yogic path during your training so that you may get the best benefits.
Yoganandham provide healthy and light breakfasts which is the best way to start your day. It includes a fresh juice or milkshake with bread and butter served with some different spreads or toppings. Please book your international flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). Then, book a domestic flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Dehradun Airport (DED). There are daily domestic flights into Dehradun from Delhi airport. AnandDham Ashram is 16 kilometers away from Dehradun airport, by road. You can take a prepaid cab from outside the airport or contact Yoganandham for an airport pickup facility at extra cost.
Rishikesh bus station is located five kilometers from Yoganandham. The bus for Rishikesh leaves from Haridwar every hour. You can inform Yoganandham prior to arrival and we will arrange a pickup service from the Rishikesh bus station to Yoganandham.
Please book your railway tickets to arrive at Haridwar Junction railway station. Haridwar is directly connected by rail to all main cities in India. When you reach Haridwar, buy a prepaid taxi from the stand at the entrance to the station. This will save you the trouble of negotiating a price with the driver.
The bus station is situated across the street, where there is regular service to the Rishikesh bus stand which is 20 kilometers away from Yoganandham Ashram. You are advised to book rail tickets as soon as possible. Trains are usually fully booked near the time of travel.
