During the 21-day panchkarma treatment, you will receive various therapies and treatments such as Abhyanga (herbal oil massage), Shirodhara (warm oil poured on the forehead), Swedana (herbal steam bath), Basti (medicated enemas), Nasya (nasal drops), and more.
The first few days of the treatment involve preparing the body for the detoxification process. During the course, you will be staying at Yoganandham (A School for Yoga Learning). The school has a yoga studio, a dining area, a reception, and a wonderful garden surrounded by mountains. Yoganandham Yoga School offers single and double rooms based on the student’s requirements.
Every room has an attached bathroom with a western toilet and hot shower and a cozy seating area provides picturesque views. The rooms for the yogis are well-maintained and clean. Vaibhav Arora is a Meditation and Pranayama Teacher at Yoganandham Rishikesh. He is immersed in yogic practices from an early age, Vaibhav has been on the path of Yoga and spirituality since childhood. Being born and raised in a traditional family in Northern India, gave him the surroundings that naturally led him to a yogic lifestyle.
The center is located in the lap of nature in Bairagarh, Mohan Chatti Rishikesh. This is the perfect place to get away from the busy environment of cities, a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate your body, mind, and soul. There is also a stream of river which is 2 minutes' walking distance from the location.
The food provided is hygienic and well-prepared yogic food. Pure vegetarian meals are served according to the principles of Ayurveda and you are expected to be fully devoted and obey all the guidelines and disciplines of the yogic path during your training so that you may get the best benefits.
Yoganandham will provide healthy and light breakfasts which is the best way to start your day. It includes a fresh juice or milkshake with bread and butter served with some Tea and One Indian Breakfast Dish such as Poha, Pourage, etc.
At lunch, they will serve a complete full meal which would provide energy for the whole day. Typically this will include one healthy salad, fresh seasonal vegetables, lentils, rice, and chapati.

Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). There are daily domestic flights to Dehradun from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). From Dehradun Airport (DED) to the ashram, it is 36 kilometers by road. You can take a prepaid cab from outside the airport. Yoganandham - A School of Yoga Learning also has a paid pickup facility from the airport. For pickup arrangements, you have to inform Yoganandham prior to your travel.
Bairagarh where Yoganandham is located, is 48 kilometers from Haridwar. The Rishikesh bus station is 25 kilometers away from Yoganandham - A School for Yoga Learning. The bus to Rishikesh leaves from Haridwar every hour. You can contact the school and they will arrange a pickup service for you from the bus station.
Haridwar is directly connected by rail to all main cities in India. When you reach Haridwar, take a prepaid taxi from the stand at the entrance of the station. This will save you the trouble of negotiating a price with the driver. The bus station is situated across the street, where there is regular service to Rishikesh bus stand which is 24 kilometers away from Yoganandham. You are advised to book rail tickets as soon as possible. Trains are usually fully booked near the time of travel. Train e-tickets can be booked up to three months in advance via the internet. For reserved tourist quota seats, you will need to visit the railway reservations office.
