After years of experience, this yoga retreat is specifically designed to help you relax and liberate your mind from whatever is worrying you.

Breathing Exercises and Meditation Techniques

YOGAMEA is aware that breathing properly helps to reduce stress and anxiety and contributes to your overall well-being. During your stay with YOGAMEA at the beach yoga retreat, you will learn to master ancient breathing and meditation techniques in order to help relieve anxiety and stress.

Furthermore, you will also learn the correct way to carry out different asanas and postures to improve balance, strength, and flexibility, these postures also help to ease aches and pains.

Having spent some time with them at the carefully thought-out yoga beach retreat in Italy, you will be able to go home equipped with the right instruments to carry on practicing in your own time. Whenever you feel the need, you will be able to access the “calm of yoga” wherever you may be.

The beach retreat organized by YOGAMEA proposes two Hatha and Ashtanga yoga classes each day. Sessions during the morning are generally more dynamic and move along at a faster pace aimed to increase body strength; afternoon lessons are usually gentler and are practiced at a slower more relaxing pace.

During your stay, you have the chance to explore the following subjects.

  • Mantra chanting, ethics (yama and niyama)
  • Shat karma (Cleansing techniques)
  • Injury-minimizing techniques during asana practice (physical postures), pranayama (breathing practices)

The retreat will take place in Misano Adriatico, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The city of Misano Adriatico is located on the Adriatic Coast and is a popular tourist destination for its beautiful sandy beaches and great sightseeing. It is located in the same region as Rimini. Its beaches extend for about seven kilometers and here, you can relax with peace of mind, knowing that you are in a safe place.

Further inland, you can find green areas with ancient pine trees and varied vegetation, making your stay in the city of Misano Adriatico a peaceful one.

Food

You will be served three vegetarian meals a day (possibility to change the menu at no additional cost) and unlimited water and herbal teas included in the price. YOGAMEA was founded in India many years ago. Since their establishment, they have embraced the idea of ​​proposing yoga in its purest form, respecting its principles of philosophy and true traditions.

One of the determining factors of good training is nutrition and that is why the cuisine they offer, commonly called "yogica", is at times far from pleasant for some palates.

The true definition of this is Sattvic cuisine, from the Sanskrit word "Sattva" (which means virtuous, pure, bright, wise). Sattvic cuisine is Ayurveda-based; perfect for those who practice yoga: low in fat, helps to prevent illnesses such as diabetes, and keeps away dangerous threats such as high cholesterol; rich in fiber, it also promotes weight loss.

Vegetable-based and free of stimulants, such as alcohol, meat, fish, eggs, salt, and fats, in general, are also excluded. This type of cuisine can be classified close to being vegetarian, even if there are differences.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Federico Fellini International Airport (RMI). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request and for an additional cost of 35 EUR. On request, the organizer can organize shared transport to and from the airport. For further information on airport transfers, please contact YOGAMEA.

Arrival by train

From Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ), it is very easy to catch a train in order to reach YOGAMEA in Misano Adriatico. Transfers to and from the Misano Adriatico or Riccione train station will cost 20 EUR per ride.
