They always do their best to make you feel home. You will be all here to grow in true yoga and not for having holidays only. The accommodations are comfortable but are still not a hotel. So according to your booking and availability you will sleep in a tent, hut, or dorms. They will always provide you with a real mattress, good blankets, and a pillow. The sleeping area and the bathroom are shared. It might be challenging for some students but it is a great way to practice detachment-aparigraha and improve your contentment capacity-santosha.
You will have an early daily yoga practice while following the rhythm of the sun. After having brunch, you will be allowed to have some rest before continuing into deep awareness. Yogaji’s program can be viewed in Yoga Alliance page under Durga-Ji yoga. Yogaji follows the standard of Yoga Alliance and enriches it through their experience.
The schedule may be modified if necessary and is just a guideline. Every week there will be one day off.
During the course, they will encourage you to read the four classical texts of Hatha yoga, which they will provide as a gift and which are short and easy to go through. You will have days off and time to read. These texts are Gheranda Samhita, Yoga Upanishads, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
At the end of the course you will enjoy having a written exam, that will test your knowledge about the teaching and is a prerequisite for certification.
You will be hosted in a small group of houses. They have a big garden where some will sleep in a wooden hut, others in tent, and finally some more in dorms in the stone house. They have fig trees, blackberries, grapes, and great landscape. You are sharing a toilet and a bathroom and you will have extra a dry toilet and an outside shower to enjoy the view. The neighbors are French and are only three families. You will enjoy the peace of the mountain and the relaxed pure nature lifestyle of an Ashram. Please no phone during lunch, silent breakfast, yummy food, laugh and jokes to lift up the mood, study and practice, group discipline, and punctuality.

The food is daily prepared by those who are in the food seva. They change the seva regularly so that everyone has the chance to feed his friend one day. The meals are always a vegetarian (which implies no animal) meal, as it is very important to practice compassion with animals by not harming them, and to control one's own desire to eat meat especially for a teacher of yoga. Ahimsa-non violence means to accept not to kill a living being so to feed oneself. The food is always great, tasty, and lovely. You will be invited to share a mantra before the lunch so to celebrate this moment.
Students can organize themselves to discover the beautiful region, with rivers, little villages, markets, etc. You will first enjoy your personal practice and study, doing your daily seva which imply to be in charge of the life of the group (kitchen, bathroom, room, etc). You may also:

To arrive by train from the airport, you can take a train to Valence. Yogaji can pick you up at the Valence train station for 10 EUR or you can also take a bus from there to Duniere sur Eyrieux where Yogaji will pick you up to go to the center.
