Experience a glamping retreat in the South Island part of New Zealand with luxurious tents, adventure activities, and delicious food. Take in the spectacular scenery of the snow-capped mountains and crystal clear lakes. Enjoy camping in a glamorous style among a natural wonderland. Stay in luxury safari tents on the edge of the lake while having yoga, meditation, kayaking, hiking, and stand up paddle boarding.
Glamping means glamorous camping and you will stay in luxury safari tents with everything you need. Set on a private sheep station near Lake Wanaka, there is a lake for swimming, trees for shady picnics, and grass for walking barefoot. The spectacular setting of Lake Wanaka will lie right at the foot of your safari tent from the sky to the lakeshore.
The lake is crystal-clear and surrounded by draping willows and snow-capped mountains. This is a place where you can take time to breathe it all in, fill yourself up, and realize that it will stay with you long after you leave.
During this retreat, you will wake up in a luxury tent to the sound of birds singing and embrace the day with a morning yoga session. You will be able to soothe all your senses with sound healing and calm your mind with mindful silent walking and chakra meditation. Sit around the fire sharing stories, play music, and attend evening Nidra yoga classes for a restorative sleep in your tent surrounded by the beautiful nature.
Getting out into nature is healing in so many ways and improves your mind and body connection. Get adventurous with guided tramping through the snowy mountains, kayaking along the edge of Lake Wanaka, and finding your balance with stand up paddle yoga. If you want more, there are jet boating and scenic flights to fill your adventurous spirit.
You will enjoy a range of yoga styles and meditation to suit all levels of ability and experience. Whether you prefer nourishing Yin and Restorative, or an invigorating Vinyasa flow, there will be a blend of classes to create balance. The day will start and end with yoga and meditation with a range of blissful workshops in between.
The price of this retreat includes hiking in Mount Aspiring National Park, stand up paddle boarding, and a kayaking tour on Lake Wanaka.
Your retreat will take place in the stunning setting of Lake Hawea surrounded by snowy mountains, wildflowers, and grassy meadows; the perfect location for an adventure safari.

Delicious food will be served to you each day to keep your body nourished for the retreat. All of the meals are sourced from local organic ingredients whenever possible, filling up your plate with beautifully presented food. Whether it's a lakeside picnic, fine dining, or a campfire buffet, each meal is designed to be a treat.
A range of unique experiences and adventures are available to be booked in conjunction with the scheduled activities for extra costs. These include a picnic by the lakeside, go swimming in the lake, reading by the water, sunbathing on the sand, and writing in your journal.
Additional treatments including Hawaiian Kahuna bodywork massage and kinesiology sessions are available on request.
Please book your flight to arrive at Queenstown Airport (ZQN). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Yogafari will pick you up from the airport.
