Away from the busy commercial town of Rishikesh, Yogada is located in Shivpuri village which is nine kilometers up river (The Ganges) from Tapovan, Rishikesh. Instructors
Seema Tewari
Born and brought up in the villages of foothills of the Himalayas, Seema has inherited great wisdom from her grandfather who was a freedom fighter of India and traveled in different parts of India and other countries while fighting the world war. Seema has great knowledge about Indian mythology and takes care of Indian mythology in sessions at Yogada.
Rajee Ba
Born in a Brahmin family in the Himalayas, Yogi Raj Jeev has started his career as a research scientist after his post-graduation in Organic Chemistry and PgD in Himalayan Tourism. He is still heading the pioneer and leading adventure tours and travel company the Garhwal Himalayan Explorations Pvt. Ltd with its base in Rishikesh.
Retreat location
Yogada is situated nine kilometers upriver from Tapovan Rishikesh, in Shivpuri, the home of Shiva. The Ashram is spread over seven acres of green land facing the roaring holy Ganga and is in the middle of mountains with the green reserve forest.

During this retreat, you will enjoy homegrown organic Himalayan food served in local mountain style, giving you the real rich taste of India. Most of the raw food comes from the villages in the high Himalaya, where the use of chemicals, pesticides, and artificial manure is not practiced to date.

Your Internatioanl flight will arrive in New Delhi, the capital of India. You can travel from Delhi to Yogada with following 3 options:
Arrival by airplane (50 minutes)
Dehradun Airport is also the airport of Rishikesh and is only 40 minutes’ drive from Dehradun Airport. You can book your flight from Delhi to Dehradun.
Yogada - In the Himalayas is happy to arrange a car to pick you up at Dehradun Airport and bring you to Yogada. The cost is 30 USD per car - A medium Sedan, per transfer. The cost is also inclusive of parking, toll, and taxes on the way, etc. Yogada - In the Himalayas will be happy to book your flight and email you the ticket, in case you find it difficult to book it yourself.
Arrival by car (4 - 5 hours)
You can drive from Delhi Airport to Rishikesh, it is 231 kilometers (6 - 7 hours journey). Yogada - In the Himalayas is happy to arrange the car from here. They will meet you at the exit gate of the Airport with a plaqard of your name, then bring you to Rishikesh and to Yogada. There are following options of the car.
A medium luxury Sedan car, 111 USD per car. The cost is per car and can be divided among the number of persons traveling. The cost is also inclusive of parking, toll, and taxes on the way. Yogada - In the Himalayas is able to send the car to pick you up from New Delhi Airport.
Arrival by train ( 6 -7 Hours)
You can also take a train from New Delhi Train Station to Haridwar (a bigger town which is 24 kilometers far from Rishikesh and is 45 minutes’ drive). From Haridwar, Yogada - In the Himalayas can provide you arrival transfer by car to Rishikesh. There are following options of the car.
Medium car - 33 USD per car. The cost is also inclusive of parking, toll, and taxes on the way. Yogada - In the Himalayas is happy to book your Electronic Train Ticket in case you find it difficult to book.
