Basic room

The basic rooms have a natural look with a hint of design. The rooms have an extra-long twin bed, a flat screen TV, a seating area, telephone, free Wi-Fi, shower and toilet.

Superior room

The spacious superior rooms are modern and stylish with a large desk and furniture designed exclusively for Mooirivier. The rooms have an extra-long box spring bed, a flat screen TV, a seating area, coffee and tea facilities, telephone, safe deposit box and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom has a toilet and shower.

Superior deluxe room

The spacious superior deluxe rooms have fantastic views over the river and the countryside, and have a modern and stylish interior. They feature a large desk and furniture designed exclusively for Mooirivier, an extra-long box spring bed, a flat screen TV, a seating area, coffee and tea facilities, telephone, safe deposit box and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and separate shower.

Suite

The spacious suites have fantastic views over the river and the countryside and have a modern and stylish interior. They feature a large desk and furniture designed exclusively for Mooirivier, a comfortable king size bed, a large flat screen TV, a seating area, coffee and tea facilities, telephone, safe deposit box and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom has a double bath, TV, a separate rain shower and a separate toilet.

Yoga sessions will be given in a room overlooking the Vecht. Each morning will start with a yoga class. If you want to sleep longer, there are plenty of other sessions in which you can participate later. Feel free to choose what suits you at that time as all sessions are optional. Whether you are a beginner or advanced practitioner, Yoga You can offer sessions to fit your experience. Personal attention is paramount and during and after class, there is plenty of room for questions. Yoga You also takes into account of any injuries, so exercise is adjusted to suit you.

Yoga You pays attention to technique so that you can deepen your yoga practice. You will find these instructions delivered to your convenience. The goal is an optimal flow in the body as well as helping you in the meditative aspect.

Breath and movement, tighten and relax the right muscles will be an important guide in this weekend. Yoga You works with respect for your borders in a non-competitive environment. There will be different asanas discussed and carefully built from the base. Attention is also paid to posture and proper use of muscles so that there is strength and relaxation.

Yoga sessions have both Yang (postures that are stronger, more focused on muscle strength) as well as Yin (postures that are quiet and opening). Mantras and dynamic exercises sometimes used in Kundalini yoga are also a part of the program.

Schedule

Friday

  • 15:00 Check in. It is also possible to come early for a lunch or come later due to your work. This is not a problem.
  • 17:30 Yoga quiet session to reduce any tension in the body with postures, breathing practices and movements.
  • 19:00 Dinner. This is the official beginning of the program with a beautiful 3-course dinner served in the restaurant of Mooirivier Hotel.
  • 21:30 Short evening yoga session in order to calm attitudes and aid digestion. After that, it is up to you whether you want to go for a drink or go to bed.

Saturday

  • 10:00 Powerful yoga postures are interspersed with quiet attitudes. There is plenty of room to ask questions and to adjust the attitude to your body. The emphasis is on strengthening the muscles that stabilize the body and indicating flow to blockages in the body.
  • 08:00 Breakfast. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 11:00 so if you would rather sleep longer and not get involved in the yoga, you can choose your own breakfast time.
  • 13:00 Lunch. After lunch, there is ample time if you would like to visit Ommen and Zwolle. It is also possible to rent a bike or canoe at the reception to explore the area.
  • 16:00 Yoga on size session. This is designed for personal questions on yoga area. Which postures do you find awkward? Where are the improvements? This is often different for each person because each body is different. This session will develop naturally from the questions that are asked. It is a fun interactive session where you will get clear directions to enhance your yoga practice.
  • 19:00 Dinner
  • 21:30 Evening yoga session in order to calm attitudes and aid digestion. After that, it is up to you whether you want to go for a drink or go to bed.

Sunday

  • 08:00 Breakfast. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 11:00 so if you would rather sleep longer and not get involved in the yoga, you can choose your own breakfast time.
  • 10:00 Yoga. Various exercises that you have done this weekend will come back in this lesson.
  • 12:30 Suitcases are laid at the reception stalls or packed in the car.
  • 13:00 Lunch. After lunch, there is the possibility if you want to stay longer to have a drink and chat in the lounge area inside or outside.

Marjet Van Der Linde

Marjet van der Linde, a 500-hour RYT, is the owner and founder of Yoga You. She has been teaching yoga classes since 2005. Besides a yoga teacher, she is also a student and is currently in her 13th year of yoga. As a result from different disciplines, Marjets yoga is a combination of gentleness and action. In addition, she also pays attention to the meditative aspect of the practice.

Mooirivier is situated right on the banks of the Overijselses Vecht River and close to two unique nature reserves with unusual plants and grassland birds. This is a beautiful location at the heart of the green Vechtdal.

You will be served 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners during your stay. Unlimited coffee, tea, water are available at the counter of the Battle Hall.

Marjet brings along her Conway slow juicer and Kenwood blender to the weekend so you can make your own vegetable / fruit juices.

Exclusions

Soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and any food you order outside the arrangement of meals are not included in the price.

Mooirivier is a great base for exploring the village of Dalfsen and the town of Ommen with their convivial shops and cafes. The old Hanseatic town of Zwolle is nearby, and is well worth a visit. They would recommend the recently renovated De Fundatie museum with a great view of the old town from the top floor, and the Waanders bookshop in De Broeren - the Netherlands most beautiful bookshop. The castles and estates route through the area is not to be missed and is highly recommended for cyclists and walkers.

A wonderful addition to this weekend is the ability to be massaged. Mayke Kraayvanger is a qualified masseuse and will take care this weekend massages. There is ample choice of classical massage (muscle), and direct haptic massage (energetically directed).

Arrival by bus

From Zwolle, please take bus number 167 (Zwolle - Ommen) and disembark at Maneweg in Oudleusen. Turn into Maneweg at the nearest crossroads, continue for about 500 meters and you will arrive at Mooirivier Congreshotel.

Arrival by train

There is a direct train connection between Schiphol Amsterdam International Airport and Dalfsen. The trip takes 1.5 hours. Trains run every half hour between Dalfsen Station and Zwolle or Emmen. Please take the train to Emmen at Zwolle station and disembark 9 minutes later at Dalfsen Station.
