Come and join practicing yoga with the stunning views of Telendos Island and climbing in some of the best routes of the world while swimming in crystal clear waters, discovering the taste of the local cuisine, getting to know new people, and staying open to new experiences.
You will be staying at Panormitis Studios, just 10 minutes from Massouri Beach by foot and the closest possible from the most famous climbing area. The rooms are shared between two persons and are simple and comfortable with air condition, a small kitchen, and stunning views of Telendos Island from the sunny terrace and from the pool-side.
The retreat is suitable for everyone, for those who have neither climbed or practiced yoga in their life but wishing to have this new experience. Get ready for an unforgettable and life-changing experience, for yoginis who have never touched a rock wall in their life and want to take their yoga practice to the rocks and challenge themselves on a different level, and also for experienced climbers wishing to taste the benefits of yoga and climb some of the most dreamlike spots in the world.
Whether you are a beginner or you have already been practicing yoga and rock climbing, you will enjoy this unique combination. Beginners in rock climbing will have the opportunity to acquire safety skills, learn, and enjoy climbing by attaining fundamental technical skills, whereas intermediate climbers will be able to improve their level. Yoga sessions will prepare your body and mind for the challenges of climbing in natural terrain and ease out your muscles after a long day on the rocks.
Yoga can help you develop an awareness of your body that will allow you to experience climbing in a completely different state. A feeling that can not be beaten. A feeling of perfect harmony as you flow through each movement is something that every climber is looking to achieve. It is believed that yoga compliments climbing perfectly. It helps you improve your flexibility, balance, core, strength, endurance, breathing, and focus.
Every single climber can benefit from these skills. Plus, yoga helps you develop these skills in a way that is gentle and healing to your body while developing or maintaining lean muscles which are ideal for climbing. Morning sessions will be Dynamic, while evening classes will focus on a Yin style of relaxation and flexibility. The aim is to experience being fully present in the moment with the unity of mind, body, and breath.
Morning energetic flow classes will be a mix of Hatha and Vinyasa flow practice that will be focusing more on building core strength and alignment. Meanwhile, evening sunset flow classes will be more restorative based. A mix of Hatha and Yin yoga that will be focusing more on improving flexibility, focus, and inner peace. All yoga classes will be taking place on the beautiful terrace of Panormitis Studios in Armeos with stunning views of the Aegean Sea and Telendos Island.
This is the arrival day and you will join an evening yoga session with Ria.
Daily yoga and rock climbing sessions are highlights. One of the days of the retreat, you will go for a boat trip to Vathy, visiting the beautiful natural fjords, swimming, and snorkeling with dolphins in the Aegean Sea and visiting Pserimos Island for sunset and ending your trip with an evening yoga session.
You will practice a morning yoga session and departure after the breakfast.

The retreat will take place on Kalymnos Island, Greece. The island of Kalymnos is situated at the archipelago of the Dodecanese in the southeast of the Aegean Sea. Far away from the mass tourism, you will find yourselves surrounded by fisherman and divers, dreamy bays, and beautiful cliffs. Thanks to its unique geomorphology, Kalymnos is a tourist destination known worldwide for offering alternative vacations and activities such as climbing, scuba diving, and mountain hiking.
Kalymnos is a multitude of magnificent routes on a sculptured rock facing the Aegean Sea and a soft climate which makes it a real paradise for the amateurs of rock-climbing. Kalymnos is currently probably the world's most popular sport climbing holiday destination. More than 3000 routes on top-quality limestone wait for you in a beautiful Greek island setting. Easily accessible cliffs that are more than 30 meters height and offer routes as well as for beginners than for expert climbers for everybody’s joy.

During the rest of your day, you can enjoy the sun at the beach or at the pool of Panormitis Studios, discover the island by foot or scooter, or simply relax and take a massage treatment that can be arranged for you, such as sport massage, finish massage, and deep tissue massage. You will have a lot of free time in the evening which you can use for scuba diving or mountain hiking. Fred and Ria will also advise you where you can eat the best local food.
Please book your flight to arrive at Kos International Airport (KGS). Then take a taxi or the regional bus to Mastichiari port (20 minutes approximately), where you will take the boat to Kalymnos Island that takes 30 minutes approximately. You do not need to book your tickets in advance, you can buy them from the port of Mastichari. Another option would be to fly to Athens International Airport (ATH) and then take a national flight to Kalymnos Airport (JKL) or taking the ferry (not recommended).
