Welcome to City Center Retreat, which will warmly greet you. City Center Retreat is in the heart of Harrisburg- Pennsylvania’s Capital. This handcrafted house is fully decorated with stained glass windows, wooden floors, fireplaces, along arched entryways. Being tucked away along the banks of the Susquehanna River, life is a lot more beautiful with those magical sunsets and ultimate landscapes.
City House Bed & Breakfast was built back in 1925 by D. Bailey Brandt and is identified in Building Harrisburg, The Architects and Builders 1719-1941 by Ken Frew. The architecture is inspired by the Spanish prototypes architecturally explored in this era. Over many years, the home underwent many transformations, from being separated into two homes in the 1940s and serving as the group home in the '80s through the '90s. Its current owners Chris and Erica, are the third in a line of owners who chose to restore it to an original one-family dwelling.
Renovations were all implemented in spring 2010, creating City House Bed & Breakfast seen today. The remodeling focused on more comfortable living space and modern amenities without letting go of the original historic charm. Security was then updated with emergency exit lighting and fire alarms, gated parking, and a keyless entry. Yes, they have gutted and modernized the bathrooms but also have maintained the 1920's charm. The facilities that enable you to feel at home are enough to help you enjoy the best food.
There is round clock access to the special coffee station with hot brews and also some sweet indulgences. The guest pass is also included for two days for the YMCA giving full access to facilities and overlooking the Susquehanna riverfront, including cardio machines and weighs. This pass also gives the guests access to the Y's full studio class schedule along with the indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. This is only one block from the retreat. This handcrafted house is fully decorated with stained glass windows, wooden floors, fireplaces, along arched entryways.

During this retreat, you will join two yoga lessons per day before breakfast and dinner.
From basic to complex sequences, the Yoga with Perumal Retreat Method has something for everyone. On one hand, our yoga sessions lead to improved digestion, detoxification, and increased circulation. On the other, they never lose the meditative feature we love from yoga.
Instructed meditatively, the body is opened in progressive layers without producing too much adrenaline or losing focus. With no repeated sequences, whether on a Lake Garda Spa retreat or a Marrakech Yoga Retreat for a sun-filled weekend will see you practice twice per day with each session lasting 90 minutes or so.
It’s all about the relaxing journey, and this is why each lesson follows the one before it. At a Spa Peschiera del Garda, or Morocco Yoga Retreats, for example, we want you to experience your whole being with yoga retreat classes. Here, you’ll learn more about sample sequences and what you’ll gain from the lessons.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, all sequences are tailored to the individual or group. For those joining after the formation of the group, they will begin at the current sequence.
Beginners and experienced may enjoy Yoga with Perumal retreats together. Each session ends with meditation and relaxation. The following session samples show our retreat progression. Joining a retreat group that already began into this progression will have you start at the current sequence being taught.
